Is there any greater tragedy than going through life as a Buffalo Bills fan

Hello? We're Lions fans here in Detroit. The lions INVENT new ways to lose every week. If they ever start winning it just wouldn't feel right, and I'd have to jump off the bandwagon.

I spent the first 18 years of my life in Buffalo and am still a die-hard Bills fan. I wouldn't call us "pitiful." Bills fans are probably one of the most close knit groups of fans anywhere. We're like Red Sox fans pre-2004, except we don't bitch and moan as much.

To answer your question, although I am NOT one, being a Toronto Maple Leafs fan is CERTAINLY the greater tragedy. They last won the Stanley Cup in 1967.

You see many fans experience repeated loses with no hope for victory. But no, that would be too merciful for the pitiful Bills fan. Today it was fun to see their new dynamic running back Lynch. In the last 5 minutes of the game it looked good but alas the Bills remembered were the Bills.

I'd imagine that being raped is a lot worse, however never having been raped, or cheered for the Bills, I can't say for sure.

I've been a Minnesota Viking fan for 38 years - so yes, there is a greater tragedy.

Being a Buffalo sports fan is pretty tragic in general.

Just living in Buffalo is probably punishment enough. I actually know quite a few nice people from that area. They all got out.

Buffalo = one of the best running communities in the country. (Tough on the football fans, though).

nothing is more tragic or heartbreaking than being a cleveland sports fan, however that will all change when the Indians win the world series next month

Running in buffalo sucks. Take down that hyperlink to that site above and disregard it if at all you considered reading it. Distance running in buffalo is nothing more than overweight "runners" and beer tents. We have a marathon that draws abt 800 ppl and we have local 5ks that easily get 1000 though. There is nothing to run on but pavement, it is flat as a pancake and it snows 7 months a year. If you run under 17 mins for a 5k u will win 90 of the road races in the area.

Plus our football team and hockey team are fabulous at failing to attain their sports highest team honor.

A Frisco Giants fan has it much worse.
