10K, somewhat slower than yesterday owing to my knee, which was quite sore the previous 24 hours.
moderately longish relaxed run, about 96 minutes, on a nice Sunday morning
Sat., (yesterday) no run.
Today, short, committments...11 plus min.
Have to keep the legs turnin' over.
Long Sunday morning run 2:09 before I watched Paula's comeback in the GNR. Excellent run by Mrs Goucher. James Cracknell, the double Olympic champion rower ran 1:20 as did Liz McColgan.

The tempo was exactly that - medium intensity / comfortably hard. Actually, those 400m with only around 40sec rest are quite cruisy too. (Those are awfully slow 400m by letsrun standards.) :) So, that session is also not "intense" really. But significantly faster than goal 10k pace, of course.
Today I did 8 miles easy (56:49) in POURING RAIN!!! Sheesh. I gotta get used to that again.
Uhhhh.....okay, I guess.
Easy 37 minutes today. Nice sunny fallish day. Good stuff.
ran to work today with backpack, 30 minutes
Sunday, 5K race in the park with my daughter. She loved it, first time she ran that far smiling.
Goddammit I love this thread. Thanks so much, Running Dogg.
Today I did 20min jog + 4x100m strides + 5x800m on 6min, 5min rest after the last 800m, 2000m + 10min jog.
A very cruisy / controlled 2:48-2:46-2:45-2:43-2:39-6:56. I'm beginning to feel that I may be in 34:30 10k shape. ???
Monday: 2mile warm-up
3x(mile+4min rest) 5:27, 5:29, 5:28
3(800+2min rest) 2:35(oops),2:38,2:42(more relaxed)
1.5mile CD
Tuesday: 8mile easy 7:15pace

You're welcome. Try not to ruin this one.
Actually did a tempo run yesterday. Stopped after about 50' to play it safe, but felt fine. I think I'm recovered and ready for more. I'll see what Coach thinks.
trouble posting. Summuary of possibly expunged post.
today, 8Km barefoot on track, 500 fast, 300 slow
yesterday, with good buddy Luca in the park, barefoot, 30m minuted, ground dry and as hard as concrete, 10 heavenly striders to finish off
8 mile average run. 6:20 pace. then strides. 100 sit up, broekn up in 2 reps of 50. then 1 rep of 25 push ups. does f***ing wonders. then i ate 3 oranges.

Sigh...
It looks like the King Troll (and his many alter egos) is at it again. Stay strong, group, and we can withstand this immature assault just like we did the last time.
Did some hill work yesterday and all went well, so Coach thinks we might be able to get back on the track this weekend. Yay!
what does that mean, exactly?

It means Skuj destroyed the old 'Running Today' thread and was banned and has his posts removed. He then used several aliases to continually undermine the good work others were doing with that thread. Now Skuj as resurfaced here and again is using aliases to post trash about others. The guy's got a problem.
