I'm pretty sure most people do not think this.

my only comment is that whatever uniform the Hanson's choose for the team it shouldn't be available to the general public to buy. I'd be happy to race with a Hanson's singlet and advertise the program and their stores, but have not intention of doing so out of respect for the team.
You can buy any number of shoe company's "competition" jerseys at the local running stores. You know that guy you see at the road races decked out in matching flourescent green Puma singlet, shorts and racing flats who is kicking at the end of a 5K to break 25 minutes? Do you think anyone is deluding themselves into thinking Puma has spent money on this guy? Same thing with Hansons.
It is pretty obvious here in Michigan who is on the Hansons ODP and who isn't. Besides, it is those guys (and girls) who aren't the elites who are advertising the most at the local run of the mill races, as the elites generally aren't at the local 5 and 10Ks.
Good to see we are spending an inordinate amount of time on Hanson's kit rather than talk about their successful training program...
You guys are big fans of "Queer Eye" aren't you?
Weekender- I dont think when I go to races and wear my Hansons shirt to warm up that people believe im part of that team. Look at Cycling. I could order the full kit of any Pro team right now, and go out riding with it on, would people think im really part of USPS Pro Cycling or Fassa Bortolo? No, Theyd know though that im a supporter of that team. When I see weekend warriors out with Hansons Shit, it makes me glad that they support American Distance Running.
I recall that people could buy copies of the USA national uniforms a few years ago - the same ones worn by our Olympic athletes. I saw people at road races wearing them, too (clearly not Olympians). I thought that was kind of a slap to the athletes who had earned the right to wear them.
No they can't be any uglier.....HANSONS HAS *GREAT* ATHLETES, Shit Togs.
Brian Sell had a great race, but I think that he was running so fast so that he could get back in his warmups and cover up that horrible color combo
Imitation is the highest form of flattery. If others are wanting to wear your uniform it is a great thing. We are in a sport where no one even knows an elites name. If Hansons or anyone else has a following that people want to wear there uniforms, GOOD FOR THEM. It means that Hansons have been able to do what others can't-----market the sport. I see an awful lot of pro football jerseys being worn by someone other than the athlete that they were intended for.
i have posted this before...those uni's are a laughingstock. i have vomited stuff that was more attractive. too bad for those guys.
They are still selling and thanks for noticing.

I saw several hundred people wearing Minnesota Viking Jerseys with the name MOSS on the back this past Sunday. I have a strong suspicion that they all weren't Randy Moss. I don't think that they were trying to be Randy Moss. I also don't think that they were demeaning Randy Moss in any way shape or form. Same with Hansons. Isn't it ironic that there are 2 arguments against the Uniforms.
1. They are Ugly
2. Too many others are wearing them.
Yes, they are ugly. No one denies that. They server their purpose.
Mark Menefee will look good in whatever uniform he puts on
