These are the same people behind the publicity stunt to get Spira banned, and apparently the leaders through 17 at Boston. This is going to be great.

"I just heard that the Air Force in Ohio is going to offer their support...Awesome News! Great Team Work!"
Hey Airforce Support, glad to hear it! I was in the Airforce too, although back in my day we called it the "Air Force", which was the style at the time.
I hear the Air Force in Texas is going to help as well, isn't that great. If only all the Air Forces of all the states would join in, we could stop all the blogging haters who are overwhelming this blog with their trolling. Let us intigrate all into our vision of conflicting and exaggerated claims, not to mention Nordic pole walking.
God bless you and get back to me, time is not on our side.
It is funny that they are having this big marathon here in Indy, I have not heard or seen anything about in Indianapolis. They only reason I knew, was earlier from this message board. Sounds like some big scam. I know the 500 Mini is very well known, and earns a lot of profit, but at least it is organized well and 30k people run it.
I can see that Meridian would be a nice road to run up for the marathon, but damn there are some big hills just before 86th St, plus traffic control the rest of the way...
Anyway seems like it has not been very well planned out and the organizers were just focusing on $$$.

All you Military People can go to hell. We ain't winning the war anyway.
Can we please get back to bashing the Indy Classic Marathon and its organizers? Thanks!
I'm still trying to understand the connection between the military and long distance running and written Defense policies and the sport......weird.

I think the manager of the Embassy suites is married to one of the organizers. So, I am not sure if you would get much info from the host hotel
Captain Mad Dog- lets hear your credentials!
how come your office # is actually listed to someone else? I am beginning to think that a bunch of these posts aren't real! (j/k realized it a looong time ago)

Derrick,
Your moronic posts add even less integrity to both the military and this event. Who is Captain Mad Dog?

YOU'VE GOT THE WRONG PERSON.....SHAME ON YOU......AN APOLOGIE IS DUE. Find something else to keep you busy..
Whats an apologie?
Shame on your for screwing so many people! Hiding behind some false military name won't help! Thank GOD you're on the homefront in charge of crowd control at road races!
You are sick, delisional and if a runner - a definate
disapointment. Are you that unhappy with your life that you want to bring people down with you? Get a grip!
Speaking of bringing people down, I checked with American Airlines today, it will cost me $400 to change my tickets. I was hoping it would just be $100 for all four, but they charge $100 per ticket for non-refundable flights. On the plus side, I won't be paying $300 for a two-night hotel stay and another $100 for a rental car. I guess I broke even. If they refund my registration fee, I will have made $90.00! Pure profit. Or am I being delisional?
Thanks Indy Classic!
Neh- I'm a big fan of distance running- and hate to see people lose $ to jerk-offs like yourself.
Your event is a nightmare for the sport.

The only ones definatley delisional on this blog are you. I am exciting about the new date and are going to get all my friend to sign up. There military friends to!
GW: I can see why you like distance.....no one want to be around you! I think you are acting imature and premature.
But, that's what I've heard too!
Hahahahaaha!
Frank Burns, didn't you get the message? "all active Army military WILL stay off this line." Darn that Hawkeye always playing pranks on you. Now get off this blog, soldier!
Anyway, trolls aside, I am having second thoughts. I only paid $158 per ticket round trip to Indianapolis. Maybe we should just make a family vacation out of it instead of forfeiting the $400 in modify fees. I was very angry at first, but having calmed down, it might be a fun weekend even without the marathon.
I will consider that half in Bloomington, or maybe we'll just relax and take it easy. I've already canceled the hotel, but that doesn't matter anymore, we can stay anywhere.
Any suggestions for good family-oriented things to do that weekend (boy age 11, girl age 9) would be appreciated.
Just trying to make the best out of a bad situation...
Indianapolis Children's Museum, the Indianapolis Zoo. Broad Ripple has nice places easy to eat and Bloomington is a great place to visit!
I second the Children's Museum idea for you and your kids. Dowtown also had the Indiana State Museum, which is really kid oriented. It's in White River State Park which also houses the NCAA, river walk area, etc. There's also Penrod art festival on 9/8 at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, if you like museums. There's a 5 mile run in Crown Hill Cemetery on 9/9, runs in the cemetery are usually pretty cool...
