It is funny how people are dogging Lassiter right now. Just a few months ago when he was running well there was much good talk about his performances. Now all of a sudden when the poor guy is in a slump and makes a mistake, almost everybody is disrespecting him as if he has never done anything good for the sport of track and field.
I know Seneca and I talked to him yesterday and he was sorry about the whole thing. He just wanted to help out a friend since he was not running good at the time. You have take into consideration that he went into a whole new training program this year and he learned some new things about what he should do and not to do. Just watch out for this year to come. He will be back this year and stronger than ever. He changed his whole training and geared it towards Lagats and that didn't work for him. This was an off year and it's good to try something like this. Now if the same thing happens next year, then that's a different story. Lassiter is one of my best friends and all of the dogging really needs to stop. Now if the guy was an asshole or something like that then I wouldn't care. One question brfore I close: For all you so called Christian runners out there, How many of you everytime you get a microphone stuck in your face after a race, the first thing you do is praise God? Talk bad about him all you want, But Seneca DOES!
