Well I was in almost the same situation as you a couple months ago, having not ran more than 10 times in the last 2 months. Your break was 5 months so I don't know how much more of a difference that would make. I had done random workouts and runs maybe a couple times a month. I was just getting over being sick also. I ran 56.5 in flats.. You should be able to break 60 easily.
My prediction is you run around a 58.7.
things got changed a bit. It was a match race between me and Rojo. I got lane 2. He got lane 4. I did a few strides on the way up there. He was already waiting in trainers wiht half a stride. So please add your predictions for him into the mix.

1) What is your 400 PR?
I split 53 in high school and college when I ran a 4*400 but I never really have run a quarter.
2) What are your 100 and 200 PR's?
I have no idea.
3) What lane will you be running in?
I was in 2 Robert in 4.
4) Will there be competition?
Robert. He last defeated me in 1989.
5) Will you be receiving a 200 meter split during the race?
No. Although I did hit my watch.
6) Will there be women watching?
No
7) What is the forecast?
78 and humid but we're from Texas.
This one is definitely going down to the wire. Wejo has been waiting for payback for almost 2 decades. Robert is wearing trainers, showing that he is either in killer shape or is completely out of touch with the harsh reality of his fitness.
Prediction:
Robert takes a huge lead through 300 meters, starts to sputter, Wejo starts to close the gap, Robert hits the wall completely at 385 meters, Wejo squeezes by at the tape.
Wejo 59.86
Robert 59.87
58.1 Rojo
59.1 Wejo
Weldon, don't hurt yourself it is not worth it. What do have to prove.....wait until you are healed.
92
62.8- still got some speed, but totally out of shape.
62.3 Wejo
64.1 Rojo
Rojo: 61.2
Wejo: 64.1
Rojo: 62.1
Wejo: 64.9
RoJo 62
WeJo 61
Weldon: 62.9
Robert: 62.7
no disrespect intended but whenever someone else posts a prediction thread they get bashed with silly comments like "go out and run one then you will know!!!"...
anyways, I think sub-60 easy. from what I understand you're incredible shape at your peak so with time off you should go down to simply "really good".
Wejo - 59.6
Rojo - 61.3 (but differential due mainly to final 10 meter float in)
67??? Please. Don't be such a wuss. This could seriously change my perspective of you forever.
As long as you're not fat your speed is always there to some extent.
Alan
please... dont do it.
Weldon: 61.2
Roger: 64.4
I'm guessing 61
First of all I think it's the ultimate joke on all letsrunners. If serious, I predict 1:45. Wearing flats after being in a boot for 4 months will tear wejo up. At around the 150 mark wejo has extreme foot, yet is too tough/proud to DNF, so jogs in.
