Other way around, actually. I don't work with any runners or former runners or running fans, either.

Ask someone in your office who Alan Culpepper or Abdi is or even Alan Webb and you'll get a befuddled look, but I bet they know who Deano is!

43.76 miles with 5:30 to go...finally got over 110

He never knows when he's beaten except when he actually is
a very powerful set of lungs, very much hidden by that chest of his
A truly international field, no Britons involved
he just can't believe what's not happening to him
There is only one winner in this race
He is even smaller in real life than he is on the track
Dean Karnazes - the 44 year old American, who turned 45 a few weeks ago
and soon
He's pulling him off! Dean's manager is pulling his boy off -
Ok, this is more fun than the DK stuff.....
Are you saying that if I said to you, "You know you would take the money and publicity in DKs shoes", you would just start shoving your finger in a complete stranger's chest???? Do you do that sort of thing alot?
You're probably right that I wouldn't break your finger. I've never just grabbed someone's finger and broken it. But I guarantee you that you'd lose a few teeth. There's only a couple of times that I have just knocked the snot out of someone out of nowhere. Once it was a drunk guy at the beach trying to pee on me. Once it was some jerk poking me hard in the chest at a bar because he thought I threw something at him (which I didnt). I mean Christ. That is a pretty aggressive thing to start shoving your finger in a complete stranger's chest.
ultimately, neither of us is ever gonna find out how this hypothetical situation would go down. But i think it's funny that you like to act like a tough guy, but then you are unable to believe that someone else on the board might actually retaliate to your act of aggression. Who do you think you are? -
dear i kinda like running,
you are really annoying. please go away or stop posting. -
Hello Letsrun.com!
My manager has just handed me his Blackberry so now I can stay in e-mail contact with my fans while I take down the 25 hour record. You have to admit that even after a 100 plus miles I'm still a very attractive man. lol.
Here's a fun game to play, switch to camera 3 and pretend that I'm running towards you. Almost as if I'm running you down at your local road race. Haha, how does it feel to have the Deano chasing you? Oops, gotta go, I've got to put another notch in my belt.
Best of luck,
The Deano -

a better runner? what are you a f***ing sprinter? it depends on the event. I'm sorry but when you make a big deal that you've ran 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days thats bad ass, untill you find out how f***ing slow he went. I'll race him any day in the 5k. I'd roll him. -

Anyone intersted in buying a case of Aceelerade? It only has one missing. Dean is so yesterdays news...now, where was I? Oh yeah, Go Hall!

This should be a 24 hour Gallowalk.
-
from that accelerade promo:
"Oh, and we should mention that his resting heart rate is 39 bpm. We think that's pretty incredible."
what the hell?? at a physical in 2005 i was tested at 37 b/m...why is 39 so "incredible" ??? (note: my prs were pretty pedestrian- 4:38 mile, 16:40 5k and 27:50 for 8k) -
I'm 220 lbs and can get under 40bpm on a good morning.
