FAAAAAAMMM!
7:41.27!!!
the espn thing just said andrew famiglietti, jesus christ
great kick by fam to win in 7:41..the guy is really fit
nice race by Fam, winning the 3k in 7:40; but what the hell is that big, ugly tattoo on his upper arm that looks like a marijuana leaf?
does espn realize the only people who actually watch track on tv is distance bums like us and then they don't cover it...oh yes women's pole vault
Thank god for espn 2 full laps.
why do they always have to cut the distances events by more than half???
Summerside continues to impress
would it really have mattered if they showed the whole thing? looks like nothing really happened if most of the pack was still together.
and how do you know mostly distance people watch? you dont think sprint fans and field fans watch? sheesh.
also looked to be abou 56-57 last lap for Fam. The guy is a beast
Over-under on # of false starts in the hurdles: 2

If you were watching they cut-out about 3 mins of the 3000 meters with some stupid story.
they better show the whole 1500
does that count

I wouldn't say we're really missing it....
"Powell has sprinter's speed, there's that sprinter's start!"
No way!
Lolo Jones and Karen from "The Office" look very similar.

No they'll show the last lap...Or they might have the announcers talk so much that they will only be able to show the last 200 meters

Not quite- its a lotus. Great kick by Fam, really whooped Barrios from about 150-50m to go. Great racing too, just watching the little snippets of the race they showed while panning over the stands for about a minute during the race, it looked like he got out towards the back of the pack, followed the back of the front pack as it thinned out, moved into position when Barrios took the lead, killed him in the last 200. Smart racing, very consistent running this season out of Fam. I hope he keeps improving.
