I was just wondering if anyone is running the open mile this weekend in Ithaca? Is it going to be a good race (both male and female).
Thanks!

I'm mainly doing the elites but have heard from 2 guys who are pretty good who appear to be coming.
Kevin Dunbar a 4:14 miler
Ken Crawford 4:24
Plus one guy from Cornell might run. Hopefully others like yourself will want to come. If you're interested post your times on here but also email me as I know the race wants to get as good a number beforehand as to signups.
Also the dinner with Kip open to the public on Saturday night has been cancelled.
I'll post more later this week on what times athletes will be at the expo, etc.
I believe 2 Cornellians are running it.
The weather forecast looks awesome - mostly sunny with a high in the low 60's and maybe a little wind from the NE.
Sorry about the link the German racing calendar. It was a relic from a post I made yesterday.

Don't mess with Ken Crawford
I haven't seen much of this Crawford fellow, but from what I remember, he got kicked down by just about everyone the last time he raced an indoor mile at cornell. Let's hope he's shaped up since then, for his sake.
I was also at that meet at Cornell and I wasn't too impressed either. I also remember him getting kicked down by a few people. I haven't seen him in many results lately so hopefully he'll suprise us. It should be a good race.
don't be fooled by these guys talking smack, Ken Crawford is a stud!
I predict a 4:10 this weekend!
who is this Kevin Dunbar guy? I've never heard of him before.
very easily.
i heard hes from B'lo.... those streets are not to be f***ed with
Dunbar is a US Army First Lieutenant stationed in so-called 'indian country' on the western frontier of the United States. Speculation abounds as to the exact nature of his fraternization with the native people. Reinforcements have been sent to assess his exact status.
Whoever this Dunbar guy is, he's in for the race of his life. Crawford is about to thrown down.
Ken Crawford is angry, uncontrollable, and thirsty for blood.
I even heard he lives with his parents, but only because all else are afraid to live with him.
Dunny summed it up: "The children's game Simon Says should be renamed to Ken Crawford Says because if Ken Crawford says something then you better f*cking do it."
Taken from the facebook group dedicated to this extraordinary individual.
honestly, now, who has spent the night with ken crawford?
I know I have!
