i'm afraid i can't remember. i think it was something like 18:40-21:00.
You do realize, only track times are even reasonably comparable here, unless your teammate won FLXC or something.
thats why i listed the state course which has more hills and on a rainy day and also our PR's on a flat course....
besides like 3 of the top 7 play soccer in the spring :)
It was over 10 years ago, so I may be a bit off with some, but it was something like:
Track PRs
15:34
15:36
15:50
16:05
16:30

Ooohh, you have a stacked HS XC team.
You gotta figure that'll pay off sometime in the future.
Hey let's brag about who was the best in high school 15 years ago!
hey lets be a jackass!
The XC team at my school might have had 5 or 6 guys who could break 20. Maybe 3 or 4 who could get into the high 17s on a good day. Might have had something to do with my decision to play football.

That was our top five guys on the toughest course in the section, where the sectional champs/state quals was held. We were more of a cross team than an XC team, we ended up getting sixth at states despite a bad team race.
4:11/1:50
4:24/1:54
9:49/4:28/1:59
9:51/4:36/2:04
4:38/2:01
9:53/4:38/2:04
4:42/2:01
we lost the state championship meet by 1 point. ow.
5k Woodward Park State Course when I was on varsity my sophomore year:
16:40
16:48
16:55
16:58
17:16
17:32
17:58
Good for 3rd, D2. Mt. Whitney HS.
When I was a freshman, the top 5 varsity guys had these times for 3 miles @ Mooney's Grove, Visalia:
15:33
15:41
15:48
15:58
15:59
They got 3rd that year in D1 behind a Cabada-led Buchanan team and a JJ Duke-led Clovis team. We should've been D2 that year though, but we got screwed.

never all in the same race though. places 3-5 normally only one broke 20:00. our top two were very inconsistent as well.
15:45 (state champ for our class size)
16:26
17:23 (8th grader)

Solid top 3, then 4th woulda been good for a 5th man.
