Many props to so many runners in the 10k breaking 28 and Tim Nelson with 28:04. Regarding Rupp, he stated after his win over Solinsky that he had made progress mentally regarding doubts that arise for him around racing and that seems to have made a big difference. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that might not make for a 42 second improvement in his 10k best but it definitely has helped. Plus he beat a lot of big names. I am looking forward to the video... come on Flocast!
10k heat 2 updates?
please drug test rupp
Carney, looks like he's made huge progress under Hudson; pretty cool to see some new names upfront-the next wave of great american runners is here and progressing.Anyone know what happened to Fam.

He's 7th on the American list, not 6th, Abdi has run faster than you suggest.

That list is out of date. Does not have Abdi's, Kennedy's and Ritz's marks from the '04 Stanford 10K.
sorry, copied it straight from Track & Field News site... now that Sideshow Bob doesn't work there, I guess it doesn't get updated very often. And, in all of the excitement, I forgot about those guys.

Pretty good for the frosh over-shadowed by several more Notable HS runners for WI. I think he ran 9:18 (3200?)or so. This could place him in Big Ten's, wouldn't that be a shock. Nelson also ran a nice 10,000 at 28:04 (almost exactly what Bairu ran here a couple of years ago.
Another plug for hopeful heat 2 updates?
Salazar and Rupp have been making epo cocktails in Sal's garage while Ritz pops off 130 a week on the air-forced treadmill watching the OC.test him.
