Perhaps much of her success is due to her cutting back on eating a dozen 1/2 price Dunkin Donuts most evenings...They go on sale after 5PM...She would chow them because she thought it would make her tougher...You can't make this stuff up.

What does this magnificent improvement in just a few months of training at Michigan do to the luster of Craig Lake her former coach?
it tells you that mike mcgurie is a fanatasic coach. anyone in the sport should know that. great job mike.
How on earth is McGuire not a head coach by now? He is easily the best women's distance (middle especially) in the country.
She's come a long ways since her HS days back in Maine at Telstar.
can't wait for the 4x800
michigan's Gwyther has been down for the count all year with injuries and only was able to run part of the XC season. She was suppose to finish her eligibility this outdoor season.

All bets on her coming off with the fastest split in tomorrow's 4x800 for what has the potential to be another collegiate record.
Go Anna!
Possibly...but i wouldnt put money on it since Erdman and Gall have both run 202 before and Erdman has the fastest 800 on the team this year with a 202.99. Its basically a toss up.
In the 4x1500 video, Mark from Flocasts seems unsure of Willard's identity. He talks about "Michigan's huge 4:13", even while the Penn announcer is identiying it as Willard. Hopefully that is the last time she will be that anonymous (of course, Mark also does this for Katie Erdman, who to me is instantly identifiable :)
Between Willard, Felnagle and Lia, the women's 1500 is shaping up pretty well for NCAA's.

Excellent job, Anna. I know I'd love to go into a steeple with 2:03 800m speed and 15:53 5k strength... oh wait, I do... but I am a dude and you would probably still kick my ass!
Can't wait to see how you do, not just this year, but in years to come. Keep it up!
She is so sung.
Is that hair real or is it some kind of birthmark?
Oh lordy!
That pic with the sweaty leg did it for me!!
She is Beautiful!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
