Yes at
http://www.news4jax.combut I can't get the video to play. Maybe it will work for you.,
Text message from a contact on the lead vehicle said that Hesch was sitting on Fasil and Hall at two miles!
Now it's Hall, Fasil and Meb on the front, said a second text.
Fasil, Hall, Meb at 4 miles in 18:21. Last mile 4:42.
Mile 5 went at 4:44/23:06. Meb and Fasil in the lead with Hall now 20m back.
Kastor leading women at 5 miles in 25:14.
I'm getting the coverage on my computer, but they aren't doing too good of a job. I'm only seeing 2 runners in the lead, neither are hall. Meb is leading at 5.5. Fasil and Hall behind.
Thanks very much for your updates, David! This coverage leaves a lot to be desired
Mile 6 was 5:07 for Fasil and Meb. Kastor under AR pace.
Mile 7: Meb is leading and Ryan is coming back on Fasil. Not sure of the gap.
it is so amazing that a local station will cover a race and then put it online. just amazing. we can hardly get the NCAA or ESPN to do that. finally this 360 thing last night worked out, even though it didnt last the entire night.
Deena is ROLLING but they are about to miss her finish!!!
Kastor is rocking. 40:54/5:24 at mile 8. On Men's side Meb leads in 37:41 for the same split. Ryan Hall closed from 30s back to 14s back.
Kastor just missed AR...47:19 or so. Hall won't quite catch Meb.
FYI: Women's 15-K world record is 46:57. USA/North American record is 47:15 (47:14.2).
You have to wonder if they realize the newsroom is on the webcam now.
Kastor just misses AR. Finish time of 47:19 and wins the Equalizer ($5000) easily. Rhines second. Meb wins men's race with Hall second (don't have times yet).
A lot of little letsrun kids are going to wake up and be stunned if Hall does not take down the AR, David Monti. Can you encourage him to run a little faster?
Meb's winning time was 43:39 and he gets his sixth victory here, but loses the Equalizer to Kastor. Hall was about 15s behind, with Jason Hartmann third.
Signing off now...
thanks for the updates Dave!
It's appreciated!
Thanks for the coverage!
