In our 4th year of marriage. First two were great, but started to deteriorate in the 3rd year. She started holding back on the sex. First once a week, then every two weeks, then once or twice a month. Now, maybe once every six months. She's clearly not interested and the sex we have is dull an lifeless. Not sure what to do at right now - still considering my options.
Before you rush out and divorce someone you love and committed to stay with "through sickness and health, and in good times and bad.."
What you are experiencing is not uncommon.
I had this issue. First, do you have kids? She might want one. Talk about it. If she does, tell her romantic things, like "let's make a baby.." chicks eat that stuff up.
If not, then, suggest a counselor for the two of you. She will have to open up in the session about things you accuse of her . It could get better or worse. Either way, you should do something.
Last step, do you think there is a chance she is interested in someone else? A man, a woman?
Don't laugh. Many gay women get married, thinking it'll cure everything. It doesn't.
