This is why the Kenyans are faster than us. The aren't down with that shut-off nonsense.

bump for marriage guy thread
I love being single.
Have not posted on this thread in 09 but I'm now on the board as of last Thursday night. I am 1 for 160 now. I can no longer complain that I did not break into 2009.
Good for you! I love this post. Keep it going. Personally,
My 8yr marriage is going strong and well. 2 kids and the sex is great! When I get it. It's not as often but good.
my longest streak went for 18 months. Don't know why I tolerated that.
I have the opposite "problem"; my wife wants it all the time. We do it pretty much every night, usually more on the weekends.
I don't agree with the "women don't want it/like it as much" statements. In my experience that's been completely untrue. They want it/like it just as much if not more because they typically need more to satisfy themselves than men.

Man, I feel sorry for you! I've gotten it twice as much as you this year, 2/210. Good Grief.
I love this thread, its one of the classics of letsrun.
Married 7+yrs, one child. I haven't been counting, but i'd guess i'm around 6-8 for 2009.
Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. It will happen twice or three times within a week, and then nothing for months.
Not married. No worries.
Wait until your wife gets in bed.
Pass her a glass of water and 2 paracetamol. "Here you are darling" Then wait for the reply "But, I haven't got a headache"

Ha! That's funny. Good thinking.
Anybody ever watch the show "Married, with children"? Peg is always wanting Al to doink her. Al can't stand it. After two kids and 17 or so years of marriage he's had enough. I feel the same way! My wife forced me into it tonight. Gotta admit that once we get going its good, problem is gettin the old engine warmed up and rev'ing. We've been married 10 years and we do it 2 or 3 times per week.
Married 17 years, 3 kids. Still doing it several times every day.
I imagine many of you may not want to hear this but for those of you who want to have a great sex life after marriage I think that the key is to make sure that you make her feel like the world's most beautiful woman each and every time. Guaranteed you will not be going without.
Lube it up and sneak in the back door. Keeps it FRESH!

That is anything but fresh.
I recently had a colon check in the hospital which proved negative. The nurse in the prep room, who was very nice, is from my town.
We spoke for some time about life in general. I asked her about her family. She spoke about her two children (with a smile). I asked about her husband. Her expression changed:
"Having kids is great. Being married...not so much".
I thought of this thread.
Anyone been keeping score for the year? I plan on doing that for 2010, I'm curious..
So far, at 2 for December, and not even married yet! :/
Yes, this thread made me curious so I did. I'll do it again for 2010. Christ knows I can't PR on roads anymore, I might as well set new goals!
61, pretty steady 5 +/-1 per month.
40 years old, married 16 years, 2 kids.
Given the amount of travel I do, I consider myself fortunate.
Merry Christmas and Happy 2010.
anyone got any good shut-off stories to tell of lately?
