Paul Tergat once said if he PR'd in a half marathon in preparation for a full, he had prepared wrong because the two races are so different. 59 Minutes is f'in blazin, but everyone is just guessing what he can do in the marathon. Remember when Tergat, Meb, and Ramaala went through mile 16 in 4:18 in NYC 2 years ago! something like that will happen again, and when it does Hall will be toast, he just wont be able to hang. Now whether he tries to or decides to stay on pace will decide the outcome of his race. If he tries, more power to him and we will love him for going for it (even though he'll end up at 2:12), if he doesnt, he'll probably run 2:09 and have a hell of a debut and we'll love him for running smart.
All i can say is the Marathon trials is gonna be sick
