I have a book somewhere with a 100 up exercise that Walter George said was responsible for his running success.
Does anyone else remember reading about this exercise and what it entailed.
As I recall, he would run in place lifting his knees as high as possible and repeat this 100 times, at least once a day. I imagine he also moved his legs as fast as possible but am not sure about that.
Considering he went out in 58 for a 4:12 mile on sourly torn up makeshift tracks, he had a great conception of running.
