I will never understand this message board, but I can understand how all the Broe bashers have never run at an elite level. I do not no Broe but I can guess where he probably was coming from. First, when you are racing in Europe and running fast, it's great, when you aren't it sucks and it is time to go home. When the body is done, it is done. You aren't going to recover to race well when you are over-trained/raced and traveling all over Europe. Broe had a good plan but it didn't work. He had a great indoor season. His thought, take a quick break, train like hell and kick some ass in Europe during the summer. He trained to hard and became flat, you could see it at the Adidas meet. It happens to elite athletes a lot. It's easy to do. So he ran some road races, big deal. They were all short races and he probably was doing them for strength and some cash. Don't bash a guy because we worked his butt of and over did it, give him credit for the work he did to get at the next level. He will learn from this. He'll be a better athlete for it. Next year will be his year if he learns his mistakes from this year.
