I just got done with my college career and I dont recall very many 1500M being run indoors. And never at UW so why dont you show me some US collegiate indoor meets that run 1500 instead of the mile
Symmonds is a baller.
200m track?
300m i think
Symmonds had a couple of capable pacers:
-- 29 Blount, Elliott Oregon TC DNF
-- 28 O'Brien, Sean Oregon TC DNF
But nonetheless an incredible opening performance. Only Lunn ran faster indoors 06.
And yes, UW's Dempsey track is "oversized": 900 meters with banked turns AND banked straights, and is at the bottom of a deep hole (-7545 below sea level) where the partial pressure of oxygen is 34% higher than at sea level.
900m track are you for real?

What the f*** is a baller?
I've heard people say this and it means nothing to me, it just makes the person sound like a twat.
Hip-hop culture is working from one direction on the youth of America, and George W. Bush is working from the other direction, when they meet in the middle it will be the end of civilisation on this planet.
someone's jealous that Nick Symmonds is more of a baller than he is
afe, your a complete tool. For the others who questioned if the race is a 1500 or a mile....of course its a mile. Please use common sense before posting. PS-where Im from a 'baller' literally means to take balls in the mouth-in otherwords a fag. Be careful using such a term on such a multinational posting board.
holy sh!t Brendon Cleary! 1.19.36! In the words of Mr D. Chappelle Peaaaaaaa!!!
a baller - a metaphor for one who plays the game well
(basketballer)

Just wondering how thats a metaphor?
maybe it's not, but i was thinking 'cause they're saying that he is a baller when he's not a basketball player, or ball handler at all. there's the metaphor.
307m track...
so ya'll know
more like a colloquialism
the crazy thing is that i think he ran a leg on a 4 by 1 mile a couple of hours later. He was planning on running this well under four according to a source close to him. I think there might be something in the water in Boise...
splits?
400 - 58
800 - 2:00
1200 - 3:00
laps:
44.1/46.6/47.1/46.7/42.1
Studly! We've seen him run plenty and have plenty of respect. Nice work Nick!
