how sweet wouls it be to have a pair of nike streak xc's WITH A SPIKE PLATE?!!!
omg i would use them for every distance!! a 4-pin removable plate like the forevers would be fine.
why hasnt nike thought of this?

You're talking about the Eldoret 2 right?
no. they have totally different plates.
uppers are different as well.
I am pretty sure that the Nike Zoom Streak XC are modeled after the Eldoret II. I think the upper is almost [or is] exactly the same. Wasnt the Zoom Streak XC's originally going to be called the Eldoret something something.

I'm holding the Eldo and the Streak XC in my hand right now... The uppers are the same.
Yes the plates are different... One is a flat the other is a spike.
I can't see any difference between the Eldoret II upper and the Steak XC upper. There was a time when a "Streak Eldoret" racing flat was available, and it looked exactly like the Streak XC. I don't know if there was any difference between the two, but they were being sold under different names on Eastbay, before the Streak Eldoret was discontinued or what have you.
im talkin about have a shoe EXACTLY like the streak xc, with 4 removable spike hole. i still want the soft streak plate.
I suppose you could possible make this yourself if you are handy ..
Rupp's worn a pair of these, zoom streak with spikes in the bottom, at some races.
Streaks=most comfortable shoes I have ever put on, I love running in them. If they made a spike version, I would never buy spikes again. I would just go buy like 10 pairs of the streaks.
These are now available on the market, although strangely not apparently being marketed, and with very little information: https://www.prodirectrunning.com/products/Nike-Spike-Flat-Sail-Blackened-Blue-Ashen-Slate-Mens-Shoes-AQ3610-144-200350.aspx
