I did not have a problem with mine.....maybe try your computer. When so many cd's are produced at once, there are bound to be duds. I would just let them know.

The movie was very different from what I was expecting. It was def worth the price.
The customer service at runfam.com was also great. I had a small issue and they addressed it right away.
yeah, i thought it was a good movie. kinda cool to see running in this light, and it was real too, the people interviewed were genuine.
i was hoping for a little more punk rock skateboard flavor, but overall i thought it was a great documentary.
race footage of the 10k was a little gut-wrenching, but it's cool to add 2 more [full!] races to my collection!
Are there more than two unique respondents to this thread?
Thanks for the comments about the video. I wasn't sure if I would take the plunge and get this DVD, but it sounds good so I'm going to order.
It was a really fun movie to watch. Fam is a character and its inspiring to that someone mildly talented in High School and College and has become a world class runner.
(ON the other hand) My least favorite scene was when FAM tried to take a tempo run WORKOUT with a couple excellent runners (Abdi and Lagat) and turn it into a race. He was bragging that he outkicked Abdi. Congratulations on your victory, oh ya it was just a workout and none of them came to race. Then afterward he was smack talking to Abdi about it. I realize a lot of this is in good humor, but come on who would want to workout with someone whos going to do that?
Bump! More reviews and spoilers for this flick please!
if you watch the video closely, he is not bragging, he actually contributes his fast 10k debut to running with those guys, and how they inspired him to run fast. that workout just was a lead up to that 10k.
i know fam personally and if you ever ask him, abdi is a good friend of his, and one that he has the most respect for. i took it as he was just joking around. i have seen them first hand going back and forth with the banters, then they laugh about it.
my only issue is there are no extra large shirts, and i would have liked to see more about the workouts. overall it was worth the buy.
I really liked the opening and ending scenes... good song choices all around. It felt like a skateboarding movie, which was pretty sick.
Question: how long is the documentary ( . . . I may have missed it, but I didn't see it mentioned on the website)?

45-50 min. with extras: 2 races, etc, maybe 90 min.
good investment.

I'm sorry, but I don't know if your opinion can be classified as a reliable source. After all, you are the same person who brought us...
"Yeah, Mario Williams! The monkey is off his back, and you can KEEP Reggie Bush!"
LoL!!! So, how is that working our for ya'll?!? When is the last time that he had a sack... about a month ago?
Then again, you may know your distance running a LOT better than your football!
Is this DVD worth paying $27.90? I'm thinking about buying... opinions
Are there dozens of scenes of him sitting around in a poorly decorated apartment somewhere talking about his feelings? I couldn't get enough of that in "5000 meters"!

Ya, I know I back me team through thick and thin he had one sack two weeks ago he has 4.5 I think he finishes the year with 8-10 ill be content theres a lot to learn at that position. The Texans will deifinetly have the defensive rookie of the year though with Demeco Ryans he leads the NFL in tackles and last week had 14 un-assisted a sack a forced fumble and an interception.
Ya, I know that Vince Young (Who just beat the Texans in overtime with a 40 yard rush for a touchdown and Reggie Bush were better players) I think Williams will be good pick just not that high over those guys but who knows Ill play my part and support the pick as a fan of any Houston franchise as a fan (I was raised there).
Ya, Ill eat crow on this one I was hoping :)
My copy of "Run Like Hell" came in the mail today.
I really enjoyed it and have decided that it is well worth $27.xx. There is a good mix of comedy, serious training, "tips from the pros", race footage, music. Like others, I got an autographed Fam poster, which was nice.
I don't think a non-runner would enjoy the movie all that much, but if you dig this long distance stuff, buy it.
The only problem I found with the video was uneven sound. Sometimes it felt too loud and other times I could hardly hear what the folks onscreen were saying. Considering Fam probably didn't have a huge budget, I'll let that slide.
fam, sweet movie. was def. worth the wait.
also, i thought it was awesome how the people who ordered it early got their names in the credits. i was pumped when i saw that. thanks fam. run like hell
How long is it taking to ship for people who are ordering now? I ordered a copy Sunday evening.
anyone get the shirt? what do you think? and how big is the large. I like snugger fitting shirts, and im 6'4". there arent any mediums let, however. will large be too big?
I got my dvd and shirt two days after I ordered it (I live in VA)...it's just like described. I'm 6'1" and 185 lbs soaking wet and I ordered a large, it's actually pretty slim fitting. I would say if you ordered a large it might be a little too snug.
if you are a runner you'll like the video.
my two cents.
