Um, wasn't the point of her statment in the interview that going to a longer distance would favor longer distance runners and that the majority of the women's field was composed of middle distance runners. I think what she meant by it being less condensed was that there were not as many runners who, for instance run the 10k in track, and therefore the field would be more spread out if they upped the distance. Umm, pretty clear. Oh well, Happy THanksgiving.
