He was mostly talking about how a meet went, and just made a reference to a guy he used to run with at Haven.
Give the guy a break. I bet you nobody else would've posted that info.
So, whose gonna be a surprise at indoor PSACs?

Have you seen the lists? Mansfield and Cal have as many or more guys on the list then just about anyone.
including yesterdays Susqehanna results this is the qualified men from each team in the distance events. i only did teams who had more than one in a few events.
800- cal-1 mans-5 LH- 3 Ship-3 SR- 1 WCU- 2 bloom-1
mile- cal-2 Mans-3 LH-3 Ship-5 SR-1 WCU-1 bloom-0
3k- cal-2 Mans-2 LH-0 Ship-4 SR-1 WCU-1 bloom-0
5k- Cal-2 Mans-1 LH-3 Ship-4 SR-2 WCU-0 bloom- 2
T&A Track Club NEEDS to make a comeback!!!
Isn't Timmy Getz qualified for LHU in the 3k?
Anyway, I agree T & A needs to make a comeback. Let's man up, I'd give up the singlet i wear now for those infamous two letters, haha

you'll notice that the season is not over, there is more time to qualify. secondly, just because there are 5 ship runners in the mile, doesn't mean they are all going to contribute big points. the mile especially, has all the big points going to schools like mansfield, esu, and cal.
Points are Points, lets be real. Feel Free to score the top 8 for each event and see who gets the "Big Points". Tim Getz is not Q'ed in the 3k. It's 8:52 and he didn't run that. Not many people have. I am not going to lie, we have had a few guys do that. It's fun to be around guys running well. I am sure someone is going to serve me a big piece of humble pie for saying all this, but I had to come on here, I was tired of all the oldies posting their wet dream memories. It gets old after 4 pages.
Finally, to continue my rant a little more. There isn't much time to qualify either, and I can't imagine more than 1 guy added to the top 8 of an event after this weekend. I mean in the mile all the contenders are there. Weiss is the one guy who isn't in ANYTHING yet, and this time last year he was in the mile AND 3k. Is he healthy? No idea, but I haven't heard anything positive. Also, typically Edinboro doesn't exist.

No kidding Edinboro doesn't exist. The men's indoor doesn't exist, and hasn't ever. They wrestly and play ball in the winter, but no running.
So, if you do scoring 8 deep, going 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 1, I still think it'd be close.
Say Cal wins: 10
Ship gets 3 guys at 5, 4, and 1 (which I think is realistic that you'll get points, but not those 'big points') it's still tied.
I don't see Ship dominating an event, unless you're talking scoring like xc and you have more guys in the top 8 than another school. Then, yes, you guys will probably have more in the top 8.
If we're talking points based on that random thing I made up, then it'd be close.
P.S. Going back to xc, Mansfield had more people in the top 10 than you. You guys beat them overall, but they had more All-Region. Hehe.

WOW, Uh, Shiz? are you gay, by putting that "hehe" in there you seem to be a fag! I would advise everyone to stay off these boards unless your a Mansfield and Cal team, which then you = Gay anyways. So i take it that this post came from a Cal or Mansfield team member. offended much? adding any fuel?
QUEERS!
Go SHIZZY!
Ok,
Here's how I see domination: xc was dominated by Slippery Rock and Edinboro. Those two teams really did dominate in the fall. Third wasn't quite close.
As far as the indoor season goes, I don't think anyone is really going to dominate any event (distance events anyway. 800 on up.).
Last year, despite a slow time, SUNY Cortland went 1,2,3 in the 5k for their SUNYAC championships indoors. I see that as dominating an event. I really don't see any team doing that.
This 'big point thing' is up in the air. Even outdoors Edinboro racks up some points in distance, but doesn't do well for team scoring because of their lack of field events. Teams like Mansfield does have a little of everything, but we still are just that: little. We have some great guys, but are lacking depth at the moment. I still believe we're on the right path to becoming big, however. Cal does, too. Maybe 5 years down the road the tides will turn a little. A little, mind you.
I bet Weiss runs something this weekend. Hopefully he's not injured, because outdoors could make for some heated races with him and Clark in a 5k or 10k. If he is healthy, I bet he gets qualified this weekend; and probably national qualifying times as well.
I wish I could watch indoor PSACs this year. DMR should be really close. That 800 leg should be crazy leading up to the hand-off for the mile. It's too bad the seating wasn't better at ESU. I hate that waiting point to see where people are gonna be. I guess that's like watching a xc race with people going into woods. Builds some suspense.
Please, someone video tape the action and get it on youtube or flotrack.
One more thing: PSAC LOVE, who are you? My only guess is that you're a Ship guy, but that's a guess just because you said 'Go Shizzy!'. I'm really curious as to how you know so much about me. Kinda creepy actually, unless I KNOW you. C'mon. Post under a real name or something.
Good luck everyone. Should be some awesome distance races at PSACs.
josh stop posting it hasnt been 40 days.
I think the fact that we have 4 out of 8 guys in the 3k is pretty big. Right now, if we were to finish in the last four spots, we would still get 13 points in that event. Thats just worst case scenario, id like to think we can do a little better than that. 13 point out of one event is pretty clutch. Who knows though maybe another 15 slippery rock guys will qualify this weekend and we'll score no points. Nobody will know untill 2 weeks from now, so train hard!
I'm sorry. I didin't mean to say all those bad things.
Dirt, Please elaborate on your epic duel with ryan blood in that 15 minute interval?
im pretty sure blood was running all out.
Well I knew 03 was gonna be a tough make or break year for me. I ran mostly as the 3rd-4th man on Haven's underachieving 2002 team but faded late in the year so I worked harder than ever that preseason. I think maybe it was the first or 2nd workout after our preseason trip over at Belle Springs golf course outside Lock Haven. We were doing these 15 minute repeats around the perimeters, 3 of them. I think it was maybe the 2nd one, I was going too hard. Think I wound up running him and Robson down in the last minute. Paid for it on the last one that I ran like crap because I didn't pace myself right. Yeah, I was too competitive back then. Later on, I would encourage people I'm passing from my team, but back then I was immature and competitive and wanted to beat everyone, cared only about myself. Anyway a few weeks later, the same Ryan Blood gave me some great advice that I discounted. He told me not to bother with this girl that ran for Mansfield(he went to high school with, also the sister of a WCU coach since I won't post her name but maybe you can figure it out). I didn't listen to it and let's just say she got inside Dirt's head and my season was done. Though I think Rick Clendaniel made out the best in that situation as he borrowed her "Fire on the Track" video and never returned it, haha. I later got a package in the mail from this ex around Christmas time and I'm like wow, what could it be? Turns out it was a burned LHU xc shirt I gave her and a series of pictures, step by step of her ruining this shirt. The last one had her giving me the middle finger, haha. Tried to hang onto these but I think someone swiped or destroyed them during a party at my apartment later that year. Meanwhile, Larz Selmer Larsen had this huge obsession with listening to Outkast(think he had the whole Speakerboxx/Love Below memorized). Anyway I don't know where this is going, but the one thing I learned through this, Blood just isn't a great runner, but he gives great advice. Maybe my life wouldn't have been ruined that year had I listened.
wow, dirt, cliffnotes, I am in college and I am very busy trying to talk about myself.
Wow Josh way to make ship look 2nd class. When we were actually winning championships we were too busy to get on letsrun to talk about ourselves as a team and individually. How about you take a second and think about what your making yourself and the team look like when your trying to be funny and arrogant on letsrun. I have won races and lost races and so did my teammates when i was in ship, but we were respectable to the rest of the conference. What have you done in college to make you think you can act the way you do? Honestly grow up and make yourself a champion off the boards because your not winning anything on here, its what happens when it counts. Someday Josh I hope you will be on this thread talking about stuff that happened while you were in college and young bucks tell you to shut up because your old and slow.
J. Somers
To Dirt and all of the rest of the PSAC alumni I am part of, I hope to see you at ESU if I can make it and keep telling stories because there is some great times that has happened over the past years that should be told.
To state how much a dumb ass u are I decided to pull off the top 5 stats from 2007 Regionals:
1 Edinboro 47 5 6 9 10 17 20 29 31:38 44
2 Slippery Rock 58 1 2 4 14 37 55 88 31:31 2:21
3 Lock Haven 95 13 15 19 22 26 28 40 32:09 32
4 Shippensburg 130 16 24 25 31 34 53 83 32:28 48
5 Mansfield 162 3 8 43 46 62 95 101 32:35 2:31
Edinboro and the Rock were obviously the dominant teams because they comfortably beat everyone else!!! With the small exception to Lock Haven it wasn't even close. I think Josh was just stating the facts and you, as a douche, misunderstood it. Stop being so bitter and go for a run, because bitching here won't help you get any faster.
