Damn Bluman run's away with the title in 26:18 by 3 seconds over Niemira. The first two teams are what we predicted, but what in the hell happend to mansfield?

Any word on what happened to Weiss? He didn't run THAT bad but he definitely didn't run up to his potential.
What this shows is that Slippery Rock has the 3 best runners in the region. Although I wasn't there, I know that Reagan and Weiss will be ahead of Bluman in the big races. It is obvious from the results that they just ran it with Geddis. Scoring it as it could have been had the two raced...
1. Slippery Rock University 33 1 2 3 8 19 39 48
2. Edinboro University 39 4 6 7 10 12 15 17
I can't wait to watch them all go at nationals... Rock has the better front runners, Boro has the depth. This could be the year that PSAC teams finally return to some glory.
2007 PSAC Cross Country Championship is Bluman's first victory in a Slippery Rock uniform ever. It took him 5 years. haha hell of a race to pick for his first victory. And just because nobody posted it on here yet, it was extremely crazy during the last 200 meters. Bluman had about a 25 meter lead, give or take, I'm terrible at guessing. Around the last corner Bluman just wiped out and slid on his ass. The panic on his face was crazy. Niemera (sp?) was not far behind, while Bluman was 50 yards from the finish, in first place, on his ass in a puddle of mud. Luckily, he had enough to get back up and win.
awesome day. Great run by Boro.
Clarion could still beat the Wolves...
Gay - homosexual; especially : a homosexual male.
Did you see the edinboro guys shaving their balls in the shower in front of 75 guys? They must be gay.
good job running, but man are you GAY. Grow up.
Bluman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow man. You ran amazing today. I am very proud of you. You are a PSAC champion now. Next time Billy Buck tells you his name is Buckenmeyer and that he is a PSAC Champion, you can proudly say "Me too." Congrats to all. I can see SRU winning next week at Regionals but it is going to be a dog fight now.
Jake, I am sorry I could not make it out. I had to come and help out at the store. You know how it is. But I'm pumped to see you and Wagner soon. Peace.
-Jorge
I promised Jake I would post his wisdom...
"I came up with a mathematical formula describing your performance in the first few hundred meters. The number of shoes Chad is wearing + the number of people Chad is beating = zero."
Jake Moore
Congrats to everyone who ran well today... ESPECIALLY BLUMAN!
To all of those who didn't, you have one week to prepare... see you all then.
BLUMAN!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!! I know it's been said a few times before, but I wanted to congratulate you too.
As for the race, the mud always seems to screw up anyones predictions. Those that stay on their feet tend to do well. But there's some that fall and pull off a dark horse move too. Once more hats off to Bluman!
Now it's on to regionals and Lock Haven. I predict this is going to be a completely different story, and many of the predictions for PSACs could be more accurate even with the two power houses.
First off, Bluman - hats off to you man. While your win is certainly a surprise, given that you are on a team/in a conference with Weiss..the fact that you are capable of winning PSAC's is NOT a surprise at all. Two years ago, seeing you run states at Cooper Lake -- I said to Eric Shafer (last IUP AA in cross) that you looked better than everybody else in that race and would be a force down the road. It's awesome to hear you ran to your potential and got the big win.
Sorry for no predictions...I had to leave Seattle to rush home for an unexpected funeral and have been out of pocket the last few days. As I stated in earlier posts, it just doesn't make sense to bet against Boro. Not surprising that they won. I had predicted they would have the win sealed in the first two miles. With mud, nothing is ever a sure bet -- but, I'd love to hear from somebody who was at the race if boro took it out hard.
I will post predictins for Regionals and Nats. But, just as a slight preview -- I believe Bluman will have an off week at Regionals (it's VERY hard to run at your top at states & regionals)...but, will come back to be all american at Nats (assuming he runs smart and hangs out in 30-40th for most of the Nats race). I think Niemera will push Weiss for the win at Regionals but believe Weiss will get things back together and pull away quite handily over the last 1.5 miles.
Team wise -- things will be the same...Boro #1, Rock #2.
More to come. Congrats again to Bluman and to the entire Boro team for another freakin' state title.
Hoovis
Edinboro guys are freaked out.
wtf is up with the pants on ben hahn?
dude is a queer... i would rather be last in the conference than where pants like those edinboro guys... bunch of buttf***ing queers!
They won..who gives a crap what they wear or do in their own personal time. Honestly, I'm sure a few guys on that team got some hotter women than me or you ever had so quit talking crap..this is coming from a Haven alum.
Boro earned it, SRU looks good. LHU, I wouldn't say is out of it, but guys you gotta step it up and run PERFECT races next week at home!
haha Dirt gets no women...also there is a big drop off in the confrence after boro and rock....haven scored 103 that is a gap between the top 2, regionals is going to be great race between rock and boro...pretty sick that boro got 9 guys in the top 30 shows their incredible depth...
Bluman looked great but the guy who looked the most relaxed and was coming on the strongest was Cummings. Another 200 yards and he would have caught both. As for the SRU fan who said that all this proves is that SRU has the 3 best runners in the region, you are wrong. There are two guys in the WV conference that can run well too. And that comment is just a cover that for the obvious weakness that SRU has been hiding all year – there 5th man! Certainly Dustin is ALL conference but the Boro has EIGHT guys better. The Boro will be top 8 at NCAA and SRU will be 11th or 12th
Anyone who knows Watts knows he will run his guys hard this week so they do well at Nationals. He has at least 10 points to give and he’ll bring in Field who is fresh. While I think they will win – it does not matter to them and no matter what Dirt say LHU has NO chance of beating either of these teams.
So do any of you guys know where we can get race pictures other than that dave bracetty guy that had his pics set up at the awards?
