I remember last time PSACs were in Bloom. My season was over and I was suspended for an incident the previous week..but wow, it was amazing..if its anything like that this year, I don't know if I could handle it.

no offense to them because they have some good runners and a real nice women's team, but i could probably run in Blooms top 5 and well I'm 2 weeks back into running with easy mileage following a respiratory infection..lets be realistic here!

Ok, read the post. I wasn't ripping on anyone, I actually said they have a good team and I respect them as I do everyone out there racing, I just mean there 4 teams that are going to be at the top, and then I think a lot changes. But you're right, I'll just shut my mouth and go watch the race with my maroon paint. No one respects my picks or positive criticisms anyway. And who cares what I'm doing, I'm just some loser with hopes and dreams because I could have been a top runner in the conference in college but I chose to screw arouand and now I'm curious to see how good I can get. If someone does, you know where I could be reached. I gotta go find me a job..see ya bye!

I'm back following a ban for an offensive post(non PSAC related). I didn't get to speak about Saturday's race. Clarion really impressed me. They remind me of myself as in being walkons that just don't quit and nothing is going to stop them from getting to the top. I like that team, and would be quite impressive if they pull off the upset and get into nats. Obviously I like LHU to go to Nats, but I think Ship will be the 2nd team, Dillon Gracey (a top 10 PSAC pick) should rebound and be a difference maker. But, I still can't count Edinboro out. They made me a little nervous halfway during Saturdays race as they had their 5 guys running in or near the top 15, right with Haven, but wound up fading. You never know. I will not sleep on them, Jeff McCabe can have a big race. The guy has been top 7 at Run for the Diamonds in the past! That's pretty legit..

This is a PSAC thread. Quit talking crap about me on here. If you have a problem with me or anything I do, drop me an email at

. I think you're the one that needs a life, criticizing fans/alumni on here. I got my run in earlier today.

Sorry, I know this isn't a thread for me. But I'm answering Big Bear's question. I'll be at Diamonds (free entry from top 15 in 2005), but if I'm out of it at 8 miles, maybe I'll stop for some dinner. Is that your house? I'm not even sure where you mean, the last couple years I was busy racing at that point..haha. But whoever's not familiar with that race should check it out, amazing how a small Northeast Pa town is all big into this race and the environment it is. Think I might start a Diamonds thread.

I will comment on the condition of the 2004 Nationals course in Evansville Indiana. Earlier in the year we went there for Pre Nats and it was dry and smoking..Before nationals, they had heavy rain, and I would compare the condition of that course to this years PSAC race at Bloomsburg. Saturated, some spots torn up with terrible footing. I ran both of these courses on my own so I know the elements they were dealing with and can say, that the conditions are quite similar.

I have my degree in Sport Administration. Yes it took me a little longer to receive it, but I did have race results up for a low key 5k run I put in, in 2 hours, so I'm fully capable of doing a better job than these people seem to be doing. Now come drink a beer with me, brotha!

Just out of curiosity, how good is it to run like 1.77 miles with 5 bar stops and run a 10:19? Not that I'm a lush, I just had some recreational fun with another former PSAC runner who won the event in 10:07

Who knows if Cowan's running. He's been trying to get back in shape for the past year and a half or so he says. But really could roll out of bed drunk and go 15:30 for 5k.I just looked at the Paul Short website..that's a bunch of bull that for 25 bucks, I can't race even against the PSAC and D3 schools!!!! So now the question is, do I pay the money and do the stupid JV race, or just bandit the white race and drop out just before the chute?(Note:I have bandited this meet once before)

I would be interested. I was going to make a big post about how my times/accolades aren't up to everyone else's, but in time, I know I can improve and be an asset to such a group. I'm in a situation where I'm seriously contemplating grad school, and working part time and training with PSAC guys would be amazing. Please email if you are serious about the idea and we can talk more.

No knock on platt here, but you threw your AA certificates in the garbage? There's some people like myself who would've given up a nut for one of those. Heck, I have PSAC team trophies and some road race awards, that I'll never get rid of. If I somehow find Mrs. Dirt, she'll have to cope with them..Anyway, quit giving McCabe a hard time. He means well and has the fearless prediction that Ben Hahn will be 2nd in the region. I argued with him for a bit at Paul Short saying Reagan will before I went on to bomb my race...

Please everyone just lay off the shizzy comments regardless of what you think of him. Is this post worth being deleted once again!!???So about PSU, they didn't change the course did they? I mean because I would have been pretty close to some guys who are supposed to do big things this year with my 05 time of 27:20 on the 5.2 mile course...But TP keeps looking solid, and that's always a good thing

yo yo yo..so I ran 33:51 today in a 10k by my freakin self..won by like 4 minutes. But yeah I'm an old man and I suck ass and yeah I shoulda never got back into it. These PSAC guys, I see their results and I'm like I should quit runnin, I should kill myself. I know my time sucks but at least I ran it, oh well.Just get with it. I still run. Most of you guys, most people who ran faster than me, yeah, they give it up after school. I almost did, but I realized my overall happiness is better than a bigger paycheck. So yeah, I'm a freakin chump, whatever. I was just comparing times from the same race 2 years ago, crucify me...Way to leave your real name as well, you are one cool dude...J "The Dirty Dirt" S

Yeah some of the posts last night are sick. I mean it's funny to an extent, but some of that stuff being posted, talking about teams and runners and some of the subject matter, it's just screwed up and I'm surprised they haven't deleted the post yet. Say what you want about shizzy and your opinions and what not. I've never met him so I can't judge him, but his track interviews are well done. But when I come on here I want to hear results, predictions, past and present runners talking about whatever, but not stupid obsenity filled tall tales. Just makes the conference look bad as a whole.FYI, I hate to talk about myself, but I went sub 16 today..good running..hope to see some familiar faces up at Regionals in a few weeks!
