I gotta agree with Hoovis after seeing those UW Parkside results. Even without Morseman, Mansfield looks very solid and like a top 5 team.
Wonder who will step up between now and November?
After seeing the results from Parkside there is no way SRU is better than Edinboro. Still SRU is better than LHU and those three are a heads above Mansfield and Ship. (I still can't believe that Mansfield actually has a team after all these years.) After that, Millersville is making a return and Bloom looks to be next.
Be careful now...it's not like the Rock can't win. Boro looks pretty tough and they certainly have Tradition on their side. But, I've seen Rock beat Boro before to win PSAC's...so it can be done.
And, if you would lock these two teams up in a duel meet...it would be close. The Rock has Regan this year...and that will keep them very much in this. I do think Boro will pull it off...and, I've promised myself to never bet against them given what they've done over the years.
So, I give the nod to Boro...but, if I'm on that Rock team -- I'm believin' I can win.
Hoovis
hoovis, it has been a while man. i sent you a bunch of emails so i am sure you will read them at work tomorrow and let me know how the relay went for you guys.
and since i cant fall asleep right now, i will tell you a few things. I just looked at the results from the weekend, and wow were they impressive. edinboro does look good, very good. but i have to give credit where credit is due. If SRU continues to run lie they have, they will win the region. This is why I think so: they had 5 guys run 27:12 on the new course at IUP. I ran it 2 weeks before and had the course record with a time of 27:15 i believe. So they had 5 guys beat that time, and you know that they held back as well since they all ran together.
Boro is strong and always runs well when it counts, you are right about that, but i really think SRU is the team to beat this year. they are tough. and maybe i am biased because i party with them all the time, but man they are good. keep it up boys and congrats to all in the PSAC. keep running well.
dirt, think about what i told you man...but keep it between you and i.
Teepee, talk all you want, from your declining performances, I can tell you are on your way to burning out. Don't worry though, I am sure you will get top 50 in the psac. With the way the rest of your team looks, don't worry, you'll still be the #1 man. Winning Kutztown, thats a joke, that meet isn't even worth coming to. I'd rather stick my thumb up my ass then go there.
Sorry about my Teepee rant, but overall the psac really has taken a few steps back, except for ship of course.
go ahead and stick your thumb up there then bud....because you are talking like you already have something up in there.
SHip guys run their mouths almost as much as SRU. Just run - and from your results at VCP it looks like you need to more then you are right now.
Hey Shoot man why dont you go suck a nut, I understand though you probably have been shootin so many off you cant think straight.
shoot man you're god damn right.
we don't even train anyway we just talk.
we have a tempo talk tomorrow.
And you younguns wonder why we've had 2 or 3 past PSAC posts deleted. Quit talkin shiznit on each other, train your asses off and go race. The results show who's better than the other's not your mouths. My money says TP's a good man who keeps getting better with his running and will be there at the end of the year.
Jorge, it's on the DL but probably the best idea I heard so far..
dirt is right, why the hell are we picking on each other? we should support each other. shoot. and for starters, tp does not talk at all. he is so humble and likes everyone and everyone. and SRU, you guys are good, so kick ass. ship, well, you guys are cool too but there is always one bad apple that ruins it for everyone.
oh Jorge we are just being silly.
I personally vote shizzy the biggest piece of shit on this forum. Hows your training going bad and your hurt, maybe you won't be as cocky and it will bring you back to reality that your just another runner and your not quite ready to be wearing the red white and the blue
it's an honor really.
it's just inflating my huge ego.
i hope to someday be as egocentric as Kanye West. Maybe challenge someone to a race and say i'll quit if i lose, then lose and then start racing random road races under false names in Wyoming.
that's an 'effing dream brah. Thats an effing dream.
funny, based on that grammar i think i know who that is anyway.
Jorge, first day back yesterday so naturally I ran intervals on our favorite grass loop behind the stadium. Foot still hurts some but I felt okay, I guess what I'm sayin is LOOK OUT CHEYNEY!!!!!!!!!
We're comin for ya!
good to hear chadero. Cheyney is in trouble!
Cheyney had a guy or 2 break 30 this past weekend. Actually beat a few teams as well..
Is that a school record? Thought I'd pass that along.
cheyney must have some Talented Kenyans this year.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
