I see all of this talk is about Slippery Rock, Kutztown and ESU. Why are people sleepin on Edinboro and Bloomsburg? They have been 3 and 4 for over a month.
I'm a big fan of the PSAC.
Let's take a look at the men first...
LHU Vs SHIP
Haven has been running well but I believe Ship is a sleeping bear just waiting for the postseason. They have trained through every meet from what I can tell and wisely let their top guys heal and get ready for the post season. Haven has exceeded my expectations and always show up in CC. Well coached squad. Should be fun to watch.
3-4-5.... Good question. SRU,ESU & Bloom are evenly matched to some extent. I think it's going to come down to who wants it the most. It's not too often the PSAC gets four spots for the dance. I would also include KU in the conversation but they look a little banged up. I would say with Parson as a front runner, they will battle with Bloom at PSACS and Regionals...again, if KU gets healthy, they get involved.
Top 20 at PSACS will be dominated by Ship and Haven. SU "the bear" better wake up or they are going to lose.
I'm very intrigued by the season that Lock Haven is putting together. I believed this season would be all about Ship. Coming off a top 5 finish at the NCAA meet last year and return what looked liked a stacked line up it seemed they would run away with things this season. That's not been the case. Maybe next weekend is the beginning of the moment they've been waiting for. We'll see.
Either way. LHU and Ship could do a tempo and make nationals. That's a drastic change from years past when 3 good teams had to go after 2 spots.
So... is there psacs this weekend or is it cancelled because of the strike?
Strike hasn't even happened yet, so who tf knows.
Not sure why Lock moves from 16th to 20th in coaches poll. Seems like they should have moved up not down.
No one cares about the polls
PSACs is on whether we get paid or not.
Do you realize how hard it is to live off of $83,000 a year in Clarion???? Screw you sad sacks. I want free prescription drug coverage. Living in Trumpland gives me anxiety. I need Xanax.
PSACs Prediction
1. Monroe (Haven)
2. Sutton (Ship)
3 Parsons (Rock)
4. Balla (Ship)
5. Conrad-Kline (Ship)
6. Maine (KU)
7. Fetterman (Haven)
8. Cooper (IUP)
9. Bruning (Ship)
10. Stroh (Ship)
11. Marenkovic (Rock)
12. Geeher (Boro)
13. Hall (Haven)
14. Signor (Haven)
15. Gusew (Boro)
16. Lederer (ESU)
17. Nissley (Ship)
18. Neiswender (Bloom)
19. Weidner (Haven)
20. Tozko (Haven)
Ship will finally show up this season putting out a full squad. Sutton will most likely not give 100% to stay healthy for the regional and national meet giving Monroe the opportunity to take this race. Haven will put up a fight but will come up short to the veteran Ship squad.
This will be way off
Like what?
Personally I think Haven will perform better than that. Is there a consensus 4th place team? Does that team know they are probably going to nationals? Do they care?

Kutztown and Bloom will fight for 4th spot. Maybe sprinkle in ESU
I don't understand why people are talking about Kutztown having a chance over ESU and Bloom. ESU had their top 5 at Paul Short all in at 26:40 which would have been with Kutztowns number 3 man even if Maine would've raced. Kutztown may have beat ESU at Kutztown a few weks ago but it wasn't a great race for ESU and KU has gotten banged up since then. ESU has Lederer and Zubko to help the front running that Maine will provide Kutztown as well. Bloom has a strong pack and a solid runner in Neiswender to give them a decently low number which will make the race for 4th tight between ESU and Bloom. I wouldn't be surprised to see ESU beat Bloom despite Bloom winning earlier this year at Kutztown because of Zubko having a rough race and ESU is all upperclassmen so it's now or never for them.
Whatever this guy is on I want some of it
Close race today. I wasn't there due to injury how were the conditions? Seemed quite slow so I'll assume mud plus the hills slowed things down? Should be interesting to see how regionals plays out as there is no clear best team, but 3 very good teams that all could have a bad day come november.
Although I'm sure conditions played a part, this seems to be a pretty down year for the conference. Hopefully everybody is just peaking for nationals.
Interesting race!
Lil Monroe is putting a hell of a season together.
The Ship team that was the BIG early season favorite handled the competition but just barely. LHU is basically always good. Edinboro comes through nicely as well. Who is their top Freshman?
Will Bloom hold on and make NCAA's?
I hate to make blanket statements based on a windy day on a hilly course but the conference does seem somewhat down this year.
Very excited for both Ship teams! Great running dudes and ladies. Excellent.
Just wait until the real meet, nationals. The meet the real teams actually train for. Ship still goes top 4.
