9 under 31, 2 under 30 in the 10k. When is the last time the conference has had this much depth?
It's about to throw down hard in that ten. Whoever said that the cross season was only a start of what's to come was right. 10K winning time at conference may be tactical and slow but all the guys stepped it up hard this yea. Possibly two or more going to nats is a nice bonus too. Way to gay distance guys.
Meant to say go instead of gay haha
While I agree that it was incredible this year!!! Unfortunately it looks like only Sutton will get into nats for the 10k, but hopefully enough drop out so mountain can go!
Mountain quit lock havens team.
So from cross country nationals only Robinson (barely) and hall finished outdoor on the team?
Sounds like all of that excitement over winter was legit, things are not okay for Russell.
So with 4 regional spots on the Men's side this year... who is going to make Nats?
Ship wins PSACs, Regionals, and how well will they place at Nats? Top 5 again? Top 3?
Women: Ship wins both PSACs and Regionals. Top 10 at Nats?
andddd most notable change: edinboro will blow.
Edinboro is done, period.
I wouldn't say the Boro is done, a coach change is going to have a little hit on the talent on the team at first. But the fact remains that the athletic department puts a fair amount of scholarship money towards distance runners (probably more than all but 2 or 3 schools in the PSAC).
The new coach seems to have had an excellent running career himself, hopefully he can translate that into a solid coaching career.
Do you dorks not know Ryan Foster? Oh no what will Edinboro do now that they have to settle for a coach with awesome running credentials! Maybe if they really get unlucky they'll have to hire Alberto next!
uhhh do you have any clue what the girls team looks like for this fall? Rumor has it that 2 from the top5 transferred, no recruits, and another one from top 5 graduated...
Which distance teams in the PSACin addition to Edinboro provide the most money. I realize i D2 that mens fully funded programs have 12.5 scholarships to divide between XC/Track. Would appreciate hearing which ones fund their distance teams more heavily.
edinboros not fully funded
Mansfield girls and guys are going all the way.
Edinboro girls top 5:
1st- transferred
2nd-red shirting
3rd-graduated
4th-transferred
5th- decided that drinking was more fun
....oh, and no recruits coming

I went to Gannon a long, long time ago. We thought everyone at Edinboro thought drinking was more fun, but many of those who did still ran.
