Are you sure it wasn't Jon Heder?

Not sure if he runs, but I have a hard time telling them apart.

I thought it was Scott Thompson

for a while, but now I think you might be right, it is Jon Heder.
Bill called me after his race. He is quiet pleased with his performance, as he should be. This is a great run by a kid who wasn't even top 35 at Conferences. With another year of uniterrupted training, more great things will happen!
Dirt, Ben didn't run!
2006 PSAC Men's Cross Country Championships Preview
Can Lock Haven win its fourth straight PSAC championship and will Jeff Weiss repeat at conference champion? Those are two of the questions that will be answered today as runners line up at Bloomsburg University for the 2006 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference men's cross country championship.
Lock Haven, the top-ranked team in the East Region, started its title run here at Bloomsburg back in 2003. The Bald Eagles will be helped in their attempt at the four-peat by the return of 2004 PSAC champ Ryan Blood (who was injured last year) along with Shawn Moore and Chris Robson. Moore was eighth a year ago for Lock Haven at the PSAC championships.
East Stroudsburg, ranked second in the East, is led by two strong contenders for All-PSAC honors in Drew Nesbitt and Iuri Pinto, 16th at last year's championship meet.
Another to team keep an eye on is Shippensburg. The Red Raiders have captured the team title at three invitationals this year with Allen Hanslovan leading the way.
Edinboro, which had a streak of 11 straight PSAC titles snapped the last time the championships were held at Bloomsburg, is looking to once again contend for the top spot with David Niemira and Josh Arthur as top runners for the Fightin' Scots.
Clarion has jumped into the fifth spot in the regional rankings with junior Chris Clark playing a big role in the success of the Golden Eagles. Clark looks to help his team crack the top five in the PSAC in 2006.
As the host school, the Bloomsburg runners will try to move closer to the top of the standings on their home course. Leading the Huskies will be Justin Shepherd, a third-place finisher last year at the PSAC championships.
Slippery Rock is also looking for a top-five finish as a team with Weiss, who had a 15-second margin of victory last year, leading the way. Also, look for freshman Matt Gray to make an impact with the Rock.
From West Chester, look out for Tommy Pearson who has won two invitationals and finished in the top four in two others, while Peter Gottwald has two second place finishes at invitationals this season.
Kutztown is led by Pat Bone who should be in the mix for All-PSAC honors, while IUP's Jorge Medina, a returning all-conference member, is sure to be among those in the front of the pack. From Mansfield, look for Dave Sanford to be fighting for one of the top 20 spots and the All-PSAC honor.
However the questions get answered, look for another outstanding race among some very tough competitors.
2006 PSAC Women's Cross Country Championships Preview
With no clear cut favorite to win the team title, this year's PSAC women's cross country championships will have the feel unlike no other year when one team (Edinboro) stood out above the rest. For both runners and spectators alike that gives this meet a feel of electricity that should make for an exciting event.
Edinboro, which has won eight consecutives titles, has relied on superior depth to win in the past. But, despite having one of the region's top runners in Rachel Lanzel, the depth might not be there to carry the Fightin Scots to another title this season.
Kutztown, the top-ranked team in the East, on paper, appears to have a good shot at winning its first title. The Golden Bears are deep with Stephanie Williams, Joanna Hortsmann and Cheryl Dingman leading the way.
IUP, ranked second in the region, features Nicole Blaesser, a two-time PSAC Runner of the Week, and Stacie Stockard, who also earned Runner of the Week honors, for a team that won the Slippery Rock Invitational a few weeks ago.
Host Bloomsburg looks to use its home course advantage to the fullest and compete for a conference championship. Leading the way for the Huskies are returning All-PSAC performers Amber Hackenberg and Ashley Shuck, along with Beth Schwing and freshman Angela Borealo.
Looking to make a jump into the top five this year will be Slippery Rock. The Rock, sixth in the region, features Holly Whoolery, who should be near the lead pack, and Jennifer Harpp.
Lock Haven looks to build on the strength of freshman Lindsey Scheller and sophomore Shala Simms.
Clarion is an up and coming team that features some athletes who have made a name of themselves in track, notably Tasha Wheatley and Erin Richard. Look for them to be contending for All-PSAC honors.
Look for Lori Johanson and Jess Chong from East Stroudsburg to be making a run at all-PSAC, while Mansfield, deeper than past years, is led by Rachel Hall.
Millersville's top runner all season has been sophomore Priscilla Jennings who should be battling for All-PSAC honors.
From Shippensburg, Alli Rineer has been the Lady Raiders top performer all season and will be looking to crack the top 20.
West Chester's hopes rest with team captains Kristie Kershaw and Becca MacNeil.
No matter who wins, though, this will be race where every position can mean the difference between winning and losing a title.
F*** You, Pat Coyne will bounce the back and will beat pryde and win PSACS.

i think she just might be forgotten. she should definitely be in the hunt for top 10 and if things play out a certain way, top 5.
i see the men's individual race being something special, but i'm picking blood over weiss based on my central pa bias. the race for 3rd is wide open and i'm looking for a bit of a surprise here from someone that's been quiet all year... hanslovan, you out there? or a boro guy. i don't know any of the boro kids, but i know what kind of training they've been doing and they'll run tough on saturday. lock haven should go on to win the team title as they'll finally put their best team together at once on saturday even if everyone isn't full strength. i think boro will get second, esu will get 3rd and ship will end up 4th. why? because boro always comes up with something. esu is good but hasn't gotten better as the year's gone along and because it's a ship tradition to suck at psac's and run much better at regional's over 10k. i hope they prove me wrong.
no offense to any lady i left out..if i get half of the top 10 right i'll be happy, the mens side, i hope to get 8 or 9 of the 10 right, but its all in good fun..
I heard that the Bloomsburg course might be a little muddy this weekend. is everyone ready for a mudfest. should be a good day for a Cross Country Race. Can't wait!
Hey Teddy (Perv/Hornick/JoJo) thats not news.
so Jennings(MU)... who won the the Husky invite and dominated isn't even in the top 10?
yo like I said, I haven't seen every result from every meet, so my picks aren't gonna be perfect. I'm just using the knowledge I know, and thats basically past seasons. If the coaches want to forward me every meet results and pay me to be the official "PSAC insider", well, then I will be able make accurate predictions. Sorry if I did offend or omit any of the fine ladies or gentlemen out there who will prove me wrong this weekend. All I have to say, is break open the bottles of paint..we're going EXTREME
Not taking any credit away from Jennings, but I was at the Huskey Invite and she didnt dominate. Yes she won, with her amazing 1500 speed I would assume that she could out kick anyone that was in the field. Now you wanna talk about dominating, wait till you see Blaesser from IUP...
weiss dominates....blood chokes....Haven wins in a nail biter....esu second....as for the woman who cares really
I remember last time PSACs were in Bloom. My season was over and I was suspended for an incident the previous week..but wow, it was amazing..if its anything like that this year, I don't know if I could handle it..
