I guess you know the training programs from both teams to back up your argument? Makes complete sence you can say how Lock Haven and Ship are peaked already... Racing one hard race so far this season definitely means burnt out.

With psac coming up let's get some predictions for the women's and men's races both individuals and teams. My prediction is that the two great teams will pack run early and not race until the late stages on the mens side. On the women's I'm calling the Edinboro foreigner over Leigh Anne.
edinboro women win, bloom 2nd, ship 3rd. Lock Haven men win, then ship, the iup. mountain and martynkiewicz then sutton. Edinboro foreigner, slippery rock grad student, then the rest of the bloomsburg top 3 and edinboro top 3 up front.
Men Team
1. Haven
2. Shippensburg
3. Iup
individuals
1. Mountain
2. Sutton
3. Monroe
4. Robinson
5. Martynkiewicz
6. Guiod
7. Balla
8. Diltz
9. Bruning
10. England
Had a conversation with Steve Spence earlier this week, he and his guys would really like to win this one. They believe if their combined places can be under anyone else's then they'll have it locked up!
edinboro women won't win over bloom. their fifth is miles behind.
The dude at the top can't even spell sense...I'm done. I did not say burnt out you fool. Can't wait to see what happens this weekend. P.S can someone please take the race out in like 4:45? Particularly a slow kid just to tank the field up front? That'd be great!

You didn't say burn out, you actually said "it's a matter of holding onto what they still have" and that they also eluded to the fact that they will not hold onto their shape until nationals.
What the hell do you define as a burn out?
You're in fact the one that is clueless. You talk like every year Lock Haven and Ship run this well at Paul short then are dukie by nationals. If you look closely you'll see that these teams never run this well at any point in the year, so maybe they haven't been under performing and that's just how good they are. I highly doubt that a coach like Steve Spence with his experience would build an entirely different training program for just this year to have his guys looking at Paul Short as prime time.
edinboro girls win by a landslide have you seen jessie
you're entitled to your opinion, but its wrong. These girls are the best in the conference.
Edinboro has not finished worst than 3rd in the PSAC since 1983! They will finish 4th this year if they run smart because who cares about the PSAC championship unless you are going for the win. They need to just have a solid race where 5 guys show up and gain some confidence before Regionals if they want any chance at beating IUP. Boro does not have the Watts factor anymore so like in 2010 Boro will be sitting at home and perhaps will not even have a individual qualifier(when was the last time that happened?).
Lockhaven is the clear favorite. Can they match what Ship did in 2010 or Boro did in 2012 with 5 in the top 10?
I hope Lockhaven can finish in the top 8 not to gain another team national spot but to prove that PSAC schools can still compete against the top tier of DII competitively.

It was a lot closed between Lock and Ship than most people seemed to think. Amazing that mountain ran that fast jogging from the castle.

Is mountain actually in that good of shape? Dinzeo only ran 24:50 last year granted we don't know how hard he tried and the course seems quick. Nonetheless I heard he was dicking around and jogging pretty much as soon as he got a big lead and was almost training pace coming from the castle. That sounds like next level shit.

Course is definitely note quick. Most run about 20-40 seconds off their Prs. And we can't forget that Alex Monroe didn't break 25 on that course the last time PSAC's was there.
Sorry I meant in quick condition, not that it was actually a fast course.

That makes sense. It was perfect XC weather.
Can anyone who was there verify how little effort he really expended? I find this mind boggling he ran that fast that easily.
I would think it'd be quite embarrassing for the edinboro coach to see how bad the men's team has gotten since he's been there. 5th place!! Come on, Watts has to be pissed to see all his work out down the drain.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
