A. Missing only returning all American from 2014?
B. Does McGinley have eligibility?

How about Maine from KU and Mountain- both should be top 5- Kutztown will be a sleeper team this year- could crack top 5
How about the women's prediction?
McGinley should have at least a year left. Mountain will be back as well and looking to challenge Sutton.
KU could have a very good mens team
Serious question if there was an alumni XC (5k to 10k) meet of Ship Alums vs every other teams best Alums would the Ship Alums be beaten? I say no. And I know you're thinking I'm bias. I'm not. I'm just honest. How's everyone doing?
1. Dodds
2. Jones
3. Boudreau
4. Eisman
5. Friend
6. Foster
7. Norton
8. Sullivan
9. Manickas
10. Manela
Heard that Libbi is out at SHIP- running his 5th year at LaSalle
Libbi transfering is a major downer he'll be dirty if he's healthy. But here's my take
1. Mountain
2. Sutton
3. Martynciewicz
4. Robinson
5. Parsons
6. Maine
7. McGinley
8. Monroe
9. Gusew
10. Brand
Look for mountain to come back strong if he's been healthy.
Sutton obviously will be a factor after the dream season he had I'm not counting the possibility out that he get better 10 fold again and is unbeatable.

who cares
Sutton will break 24 this year.
Some of these predictions are startling to say the least.
You have Norton at 7th after her outdoor PSAC performance? I expect her to be top 5 and definitely ahead of Foster who I believe has never beaten her dating back to HS. Does Eisman still have any eligibility left? I thought she was done but I could be wrong I also didn't Dodds had eligibility left.
And Brand in the top 10? He's hardly been top 20 material how is he suddenly going to be the third best guy on his team with people like England and Balla handedly ahead of him? I think McGinley and Monroe both have the potential to beat Maine also what about the other CalU kid?
Eye Brows were raised in one coaches office about the Foster over Norton pick - only one explanation - boy friends need to shut up.
last i checked norton cratered at psac xc last year and only beat foster by half a second at regionals. plus, look at norton's progression over two years vs. foster's. you ship fanboys hate to admit it but rohl can coach the heck outta his women during xc. plus, foster hit a provo mark last year and norton didnt.
foster was probably mismanaged a little towards the end of outdoor last year but this is xc, i'd also expect her to beat norton.
last year xc psac
foster 20th
norton 26th
last year regional xc
norton 13th
foster 14th
how exactly is foster over norton such a huge leap? i gotta think no matter where they finish they're gonna be close, in one order or the other
No way in hell Foster beats Norton. Lacks the tenacity and awareness and every time she does try to chase Norton she blows up just like at Bucknell last year.
Ok boys that is enough. I'm not going to have a whole weeks worth of athlete and coach bashing going on like has happened in the past. Casey Norton is very good and made good progression, Foster is very good has made good progression. They are both good kids. Whoever runs the best runs the best. That is it. Maybe I din't call it right last year with Foster on the 10k, that is on me. We tried for NCAA and took a risk. It blew up a bit. Des knew what the risks were. Most of the time that has worked out for my athletes, I do the best I can for them and they know it.
So....2 weeks to go - finish your prep work and good luck this season.
Best,
Coach Mike

I believe there was an article about how Norton was struggling with a late season injury last xc season before PSACs. To think of it Norton has never done well at nationals so there would be a chance for Foster to beat her there but Norton is a much better racer in my opinion. Foster has one win over Norton in college correct?
But to Rohl's points both are very good athletes and great competitors it will be interesting to see what happens.
Norton is too good for Foster...Just dominant. Has all the tools to defeat anyone. But it is amusing how we are stuck in our own little conference world when their are bigger power houses out there. Guess you have to start some where :)
What about the Cal girls? Are Zanella and Summer coming back? If so..they'll be the team to beat. Pretty sure both Dodds and Eisman have eligibility.
I believe they are both coming back...Summer was just hurt. Zanella is going to be hot on the XC course just as she is in person! :D
