Paul Short race assignments are out. Can't wait to see Lock Haven get smacked in the Gold race. Maybe that will set the rankings straight.
Yeah, and show everyone why the Haven is superior to the Boro. The rankings do not lie!

Rumor has it that Zondlo is coming back later this season.
Haven is now ranked 10th in the nation? Who is doing these rankings honestly, they are a good team but they are definitely not worth 10th.
You are all a bunch of clowns. Haven deserves to be where they are in the nation right now.
They got smacked by a D3 school. I hardly think they deserve to be there right now
The 2010 Haven team that was 11th in the country had a 68 second 1-5 spread at the national meet, with 5 guys running 5:16 pace or faster in the Kentucky snow. The current team had 4 guys run 5:16 pace or faster last week at Lock Haven. They also had a 69 second spread and I'm guessing Monroe ran hard enough to win but did not go all out. The results don't point to Lock Haven being the 10th best team in the country right now. They need to get Zondlo back and show more than what they have in order to merit this ranking.
Monroe is a monster
Franklin Fezza drank a gallon milk right before the Paul Short Brown Race and still won it was unbelievable.
Lock Haven looked real good yesterday in the gold with that 2-5 spread and Monroe up front. ESU looked good also in the brown race and really took it to Shippensburg. Fezza looked comfortable taking the win. Shippensburg has a close pack its just well back from the LHU and ESU packs. IUP not far behind Ship in brown race. It will be interesting to see what boro does today.
Looks like Edinboro got 20th out of 31 in Louisville. They ran good times though.
If Haven would have run at Louisville with the way they ran yesterday, they could have had a chance at beating Boro. It's going to be an interesting few weeks until PSACs and Regionals
Here are the results from 2010 when Edinboro and Ship ran there, none of the current teams would even contend for top 4 in the conference that year. Lock haven was in amazing shape that year as well.
It seems like up front Haven, Edinboro, ESU, and Ship all have a front runner and no depth behind them for 40-45 sec. The front runners for each team will take up the top 5 and after that we have a bunch of 25:30-26:00 runners fighting it out for the team title.
Lehigh ran at least 30 seconds slower then Louisville so right now my team rankings are
1. Lock haven
1. Edinboro
3. ESU
4. Ship
Haven and Boro are pretty much even and ESU is clearly the favorite currently for 3rd. Ship needs to have its entire pack move forward by 30-40 seconds to have a chance to make it to Nats.
Ship is definitely looking like a young and inexperienced team right now. They really need to get it together if they want to contend. ESU whooped them pretty hard yesterday.

Wat r u basing this 30 sec diff off of? We're u at both course? I don't see how u can make that assumption if u did not see both courses.
Louisville is a very fast course. Conditions seemed decent. Paul Short has more rolling terrain and most pictures showed athletes covered in mud. I think 30 seconds might be about right, if not slightly high. Even given 20 seconds LHU looked a little better this weekend.
PSACs is going to be a race of 3-4-5's more than the up front battle it's been the last few years. The spreads are massive compared to '10 and '11 among teams 1-5 runner. Each team leader has come of age when their team had senior leadership and great packs, now each is left to lead a packs with much diminished talent than from when they began their collegiate careers.
However, Ship's youthful pack will be interesting to watch, without a doubt.
I have run both courses and even with the same conditions Louisville is faster so between the mud and rain at Paul Short you get at least 30 seconds. Lock haven currently would beat Edinboro easily after there performance over the weekend.
Is everyone smoking my product?
Aaron Dinzeo 24:28 at Louisville Classic but unattached. Seems like he's in decent shape. It will be neat to see him and Monroe go at it in track if both stay healthy
