He may not be in the PSAC but Stewart Jones from Wheeling Jesuit is someone to add in the regional mix. Got 8th place last year at regionals as well as running 8:56 and going all-american in the steeple in outdoor.

The supposed "freshman stud" going to Haven isn't going to Haven anymore...he's headed to Purdue...
Haven doesn't really look as strong as originally intended. Ship has Gillette and a lot of their milers had break-out track seasons last year. SRU and ESU are solid pack teams and lost virtually nobody, so it will be a vicious battle. Obviously, it is still Edinboro's race to lose though.
Anyone see those Newton lightweght trainers? anyone wearingthem is bound to run like a 5 minute PR in the 5k.
How does haven not look strong they get back zondlo and got 2 transfers of Seth robins who was a 9:14 2 miler in hs and Zach mains from millersville. I deff say they r goin be in contention to win and if the Anderson rumor is true then the fav
Even without Anderson, Edinboro won't be defeated. They will destroy the PSAC and region come November
It does look like Edinboro will be the top team in the region despite losing top 2 and 3 of top 4 from nationals team. Will be hurt at NCAA's with lack of upfront power.
LHU could contend with Monroe and a healthy Zondlo. However the lack of a pack kills them. If transfers can run this team would be good. 2nd in the region but better at NCAA's than Edinboro if front runners perform as expected.
ESU and SRU probably have the best packs but will each be lucky to have more than one runner inside the top 15 at Regionals. Would be a useless 3rd bid to NCAA's. I vote the 3rd bid to the Central Region.
Matt Gillette/Shippensburg. Yeah thats about all thats left of a team which was one of the better teams the conference has seen in the last decade. Suprised no stud recruits came in after that, Mid D guys excluded. But Mid D guys cannot impact in Men's XC (10K) like the women's (6K). That leaves this team 5th in the region.
Unfortunately the region will field 3 teams that finish outside the top 10 and more likely top 15. Lack of PSAC studs is hurting us at the National level. Is it budget or developmental problems?
Bump to see it on the front page...
Even with Anderson sitting out edinboro is still picked 1. I smell an upset
Where is Anderson?
it definitely will be more interesting without Anderson team wise, but Monroe will more than likely now run away with a conference and regional title
PSAC fans, members, and friends...
Consider helping out with a new running team that has started by former PSAC runner Ben Hahn.
The team is working an organic garden and trying to live a more sustainable life while working towards the 2016 Olympic Trials.
Anyone can be a member and get training advice etc. The Kickstarter link is below.

It's called The Mancos Project. One of the athletes Julian de Rubira just ran 13:48 for the 5k in Europe!
Recap for this weekend, Edinboro dominates Slippery Rock at Buffalo.
Monroe dominates with a fast 6k time, rest of Haven guys looking good.
Ship runs slow as usual on their home course.
Dinzeo wins but unattached at Cal's home meet, interesting.
Interesting to see how the next couple of weeks turn out.
Based off of wording Iin some articles from Edinboro's website, it looks like Anderson may just be red shirting:
"one All-American who chose not to compete in the 2013-2013 season"
How fast was Monroe's time? Kutztown went to Lehigh and there top guy placed 6th with an 1850, he looked very comfortable!

Monroe second behind sub-4 guy Robby Creese in 18:17
Do you know if they were working out and how the course was? The lehigh guys were tempoing the race!
The course was fast, plus it's lehigh. Anyone running there will have a fast time, unless it's muddy like paul short the past 2 years
Dinzeo?
I dont understand this thread, can someone explain it to me
