Scott Anderson 14:04, Ben Hahn 30:00, and Elicia Anderson 34:22 all putting up great times out at Mt. Sac. Goes to show the PSAC is getting stronger

Watts may be old but he still knows what he's doing. Hahn, Anderson, and Dieble are running better than any of the other runners in the conference and there are some steeple guys doing alright as well. Do I think they will win the 1500, Steeple, 5k, and 10k at conference? No, but it could happen. It is nice to see these guys running comparable to how they race in cross after many years of pathetic track seasons.

Watts is a great coach, but Hahn ran 14:32 as a freshman so there isn't really any massive improvement in 5 years of "maturing" and Anderson is the fastest 3200 meter recruit the PSAC has ever gotten at 9:03. When you are working with talent you get talented results.

Can't blame a coach for recruiting top talent like that. However they must still work hard to reach that level. I think Hahn ran 66 lows for a half this fall so he hasn't quite been at that level this spring. Speaking of talent though whats up with Beardsley?

Your point is? In 5 years a kid goes from 14:32 to 14:13?! Oh my, only Watts could coach a kid to do that.....
