Obviously, the post was not from the Boro.
The guys from Boro have never been confused with Rhodes Scholars so it could be real.
The real surprise will be IUP Wainwright and Keller are going to rock the mid distances. Zinns is one of the best young coaches in the country!

USTFCCCA website shows the Boro guys had the second highest team gpa last year with a 3.54 only behind Northern State who had a 3.542.

You forgot to tell USTFCCA that the Boro is on a 6.0 scale. But if they are that smart then maybe they will figure out how to run at the indoor championships and put sand in the pit. Not competing when you are hosting makes no sense.
Entry list for PSACs is out:
Looks like the guys DMR will be a heck of a race between Ship, Lock Haven, Mansfield, Kutztown, and maybe even a wild card in Cal. ESU didn't load it up with their big guns but it should still be a heck of a race!
It's so much easier to make predictions once the entry lists are out, women as my first post and then men. Honestly because the men's races are a little harder to predict. Let the criticism begin:
800- with 6 of the top 10 seeds, how many points can Ship score?
1)Raudabaugh- Ship
2)Snyder- Slippery Rock
3)McCollum- Ship
4)Hancox- Slippery Rock
5)Huber- Ship (doubling from mile)
6)Dubs- Ship (doubling from mile)
7)Brown- Kutz (doubling from mile)
8)Kucewicz- Boro
Mile- Will Huber or Anderson attempt to put up a national time?
1) Spence- Ship
2) Anderson- Ville
3) Huber- Ship
4) Brown- Kutz
5) Dubs- Ship
6) Fornshell- Ship
7) Cleary- Kutz
8) Ratasiewicz- WCU

3) Anderson- Ville
4) Harpp- SRU
5) Lambert- LHU
6) Yi- Boro
7) Frey- Ship
8) Burnick- SRU
5k- Anderson versus Edwards is a toss up. How fast will this race be?
1) Anderson- Ville
2) Edwards- Mans
3) Spratford- Ship
4) Lambert- LHU
5) Burnick- SRU
6) Reimer- Kutz
7) Yi- Boro
8) Francisco- Ville
4x800- could Edinboro unleash former Foot Locker Finalist Kacey Gibson?
1)Ship
2)SRU
3)Kutz

6)Boro
7)ESU
8)WCU
DMR- I expect this to stay close to the last leg.
1) Ship
2) SRU
3) Bloom
4) Boro
5) West Chester
6) Ville
7) Cal
8) Kutztown
Men's- I found these really difficult and if I get anywhere close I will be thrilled. This is going to be a fun year, I don't see any events where there is a clear cut favorite heading in.
800- A tactical final? There are some great kickers in this race.
1) Smith- Cal
2) Jewel- SRU
3) Weeks- Kutz
4) Wainwright- IUP
5) Saparito- ESU
6) Jamieson- SRU
7) Flott- Ship
8) Robinson- Mans
Mile- Beegle's DMR anchor leg makes him the favorite here
1) Beegle- Ship
2) Hilton- LHU
3) Plaszenski- Mans
4) Schelander- Ship
5) Gillette- Ship
6) MacNabb- Mans
7) Keller- IUP
8) Aldeen ESU
3k- I really have trouble with all the Ship and LHU dominance in this event, so I put other worthy runners in the top 8.
1) Stetler- Ship
2) Hilton- LHU
3) Zondlo- LHU
4) Beegle- Ship
5) Dinzeo- Cal
6) McBride- Ville
7) Gillette- Ship
8) Johnson- LHU
5k- A race that will go out fast and yield some wild results.
1) Miller- LHU
2) Kiptoo-Rono- IUP
3) Stetler- Ship
4) Johnson- LHU
5) Boyer- Ship
6) Monroe- LHU
7) Getz- LHU
8) McBride- Ville
4x800- Are their really only 6 teams entered or did I miss something on the PL?
1) Slippery Rock
2) East Stroudsburg
3) Kutztown
4) Lock Haven
5) Ship
6) West Chester
DMR- Not Ships A team, probably Haven's A team, neither of them will beat Mansfield, IUP will contend
1) Mansfield
2) Ship
3) IUP
4) LHU
5) Kutztown
6) East Stroud
7) Millersville
8) Cal

1) Slippery Rock
2) East Stroudsburg
3) Kutztown
4) Lock Haven
5) Ship
6) West Chester
There are only 6 teams entered. If you just finish you would get 2 or 1 point. Bloom, Cal, Cheney, IUP, Miller, and Mansfield coaches should be embassarred.

Mitch Miller for the win in the 5k?? Thank you. I haven't laughed that hard in awhile.
HAVE YOU EVER SEEN SEAN STETLER BEAST MODE? He will win the 5k
2 heats of the 5k
2 heats is bad enough, but at least it's not like the centennial conference tomorrow, we have 3 heats of men and 2 of women. gonna be a long morning.
Looks like our games committee decided to go with 1 heat of each...30 athletes each is gonna be interesting. The women's 5k have almost 3 minute spread. Men have about 1:20.

Hopefully the games committee will put sand in the pit so the multi's, LJ'er's, and TJ'er's can qualify for Nationals. It appears like there will be several people there to check and report if the pit is not even with the board.
Don't let the athletes and conference suffer.
Future multi time AA Bud just got himself outkicked by the best miler in the conference.

While Plazenski's early times are notable accomplishments, it also shows he really didn't take any time off from cross.. I would rather run like crap now and put up times when it counts then set the bar high and burn out by the crucial time of the season.
Should be interesting to see how his season plays out.
Dmr was an awesome race as was the 5k. Sean Stetler took the win in 14:34. Ship has taken control of the distance races thus far. Tomorrow will be interesting.
Stettler is a beast for sure. I am a BIG FAN! Can't wait for tomorrow, excited to see the men's mile.
Predicting someone to be a multiple time AA is a lot of pressure to put on someone. Just let him enjoy running and if he's lucky enough to go AA then that'll be great. If he never does, it doesn't mean anything, he'd still be a great runner.
i think "hardcock" was referencing some earlier posts where someone predicted Bud to be a multi-time All American.
After Day 1 I had a few observations:
Someone needs to alert me when Sean Stetler is in Beast Mode so I don't pick against him again.
Beegle stated his case for the conferences best miler while running down and then running away from Keller and Plaszenski.
East Stroudsburg's anchor leg in the 4x8 may have run the most impressive race of the day. (can someone provide a name)
Alex Monroe will win 3-5 PSAC titles before his career is over.
That was the single best long jump competition I have ever seen.
Ship's depth will be a major factor in the distance races. They got through the day using a single race from Spence, Huber, and Beegle. With zero races from Schelander and Gillette.
Compared to Lock Haven where Zondlo got to tempo a mile, Hilton raced twice, and Johnson, Monroe, Miller, Getz all went hard in the 5k and Rosario struggled in his DMR leg.
Slippery Rock's women had to utilize Snyder twice, Harpp trying to keep spence away in the DMR, Burnick going out hard in the 5k. And I'm sure I saw Hancox at least once but don't remember if she also ran the 4x8.
Ship's fresher distance legs should make a difference for them on day 2. That may help them decide the team titles.
Edinboro needs to expand the safe zone surrounding the weight throw sector after multiple throws in warm up and competition.
Zondlo has to be my early favorite for the 3k. He should have the freshest legs in the competition.
I'm ready to kick things off with the mile today.
