anyone racing this weekend or next?
ESU and Millersville at Lafeyette on Fri.
Predictions for track:
Josh Neyhart wins whatever he decides to run.
Whats the feeling around Bloomsburg after cross season? Better off without the Brandts? Or would things be better if they were still coaching???
Anyone on here catch the news about Mansfield's Brenae Edwards at ECAC?
http://www.gomounties.com/XCTrack/2009%20XC/IC4A.htm
She won the University Division ECAC meet in 17:25
that's a great result. its to bad she didn't make NCAA's. She would have been an AA there. PSAC women were so strong this year on the individual side of things.
shizzy no need to prove yourself on a message board you guys showed you had the talent to make it there and did what you had to do. beagle wasn't 100% throughout the whole season and you don't have brady anymore. eitherway do your talking with your legs and not on a message board.
Get off the PSAC list Jim. Those kids don't want you back and no one else does either. No one misses you.
Saw that brady ran this weekend and ran pretty well. His teammates should make a push for him to get back on the team. He would have been a big help in cross country as well. Its a shame he is no longer on Ship's team.
He's obviously off Ship's team for a reason, its not like he actually ever helps them during the post season anyway. Lets talk about runners who actually matter...like Tim Getz, looks like he's back and healthy.
yeah probably because cry baby neyhart wanted to run varsity on cross country. he probably cried to spence and he kicked him off the team so that he could run on the team and go to regionals and nationals.
saw that brady ran unattached this past weekend. does that mean he is off the team for good and not returning for track? i disagree with him helping out ships team. from following psac results the past few years it doesnt look like hes helped them out at any championships in well over a year. in our sport fast times are always great, but championships are what really matter. i didnt see him in the results anywhere from last years outdoor championship and it looked like he didnt score any points in indoor. from looking at his times on direct athletics it seems like he runs his best times in the middle of the season and then has problems with maybe injuries or just burning out which makes him useless for the post season meets. all in all, he doesnt seem like he would make an impact on ships team seeing as they have gotten pretty deep this year. as for getz, is he back to 100%? 8:47 is pretty good for the first meet of the season, but has he lost any fitness? it should be interesting to see how haven and ship are running when meets start up again in mid january.
After receiving messages from people about the stuff that is going on here, I felt the need to check it out and throw in a few words to speak for myself.
First off, I'd like to apologize to Neyhart and my Ship family for all this bull shit that is going on. Those posts were not from me and its pretty ignorant and low of people to bash others like that and get them involved with me. Quite honestly, I don't care if you talk shit about me, its not going to make me change what I am doing or make me sit in the corner and cry about it. But to cause tension between me and my former teammates, that's just unnecessary and uncalled for. Leave them out of it and get a life.
I personally don't like this site and thinks its full of trash talking shit from people that run more with their mouths (or keyboards..haha) than their legs, but its whatever. There will always be trash talking and I'm sure there will be someone that will have some ignorant comment to make after this.
But to clear up everything and answer people's questions. No I am not on the SHIP's track team. I made some bad decisions and now I have to live with the consequences. So like previous posters said, worry about other runners in the PSAC that actually matter.
I do, however, absolutely love running, so I am going to keep training and running whether I am on a team or not. Deal with it, you can't stop it. I am doing my thing, so do your thing, which I hope is more than spending time on this thread.
In closing, I want to say good luck to SHIP this coming indoor season. You HAVEN boys gotta lot of work to do. haha...jk. Good luck to you both, I am excited to see what is to come between you two. HAPPY RUNNING!
With Regards,
Jeremy Brady

Not sure how true it is but I heard the Kenyan guy was actually a sprinter in Kenya so he may be more of an 800/1500 guy.

Cal, Slippery Rock, and IUP will be at Kent this weekend. Anyone know of recruits who will have an impact at PSAC's?
in the 800, IUP's Steve Wainwright will get buck and pull a shocking win over Ben Hatch at PSACs..
Johnstown stand up!!!!
Mansfield as well

Boro does not have an NCAA men's indoor track team, it got cut probably about 10 years ago now, i believe for Title IX reasons (not sure though ?)
