Holy crap, what the hell happened to this thread? Somebody took a dump on the intelligence train, that's for sure.

I won't go into the IUP situation or this sprinting nonsense. I'll just mention the course a bit.

Though I've never even ran the actual course where Regionals is taking place, I've ran the area. It is completely flat. Imagine it to be similar to Lock Haven, minus the soccer and corn fields. It's a wide open field.

Again, I've never ran it, so I can't give you real details like terrain or how it races mentally. It's a shock to me as well that Mansfield got Regionals. I wish we had it while I was in school.

If anyone even cares, I really hope I can make it to the Regional Championships, but they fall the same time as the NY State XC Championships, and I help coach at a high school in NY so I may not be able to watch the race in Mansfield.

What may be the funniest part of your post is that you will never be able to argue your intelligence. Your talents may take you places, but man, you will never hold any type of social status beyond 'dunce.'

How you ever even made it to college has probably stunned doctors. I guess everyone these days is willing to take money; even if that means allowing complete morons to attend class. The professors that read your papers probably see your name on the top, and just skip to the next student's work.

Hasn\'t anyone heard of urban-jive? I think it\'s hilarious (when used properly) and it\'s certainly not a new concept. It has nothing to do with smarts necessarily. People sometimes adopt this style (especially in the sports arena)and may totally abandon it in formal social and career related situations.

Thanks for the update, Wooten. If the course is as flat as you say, it should make for a very fast and a very interesting race. I'm looking forward to it!

Regional course should be interesting, but I wonder how Mansfield got it? Me myself I'm more of a hill runner but it'll be interesting nonetheless. Sounds like everyone's getting alot of good recruits!
