IUP's new coach is Joey Zins, there is a profile for him on the IUP athletics website.

And word on the street is that Jorge Medina may be headed back to town? Possibly an assistant coach?

what the hell this used to be a hilarious thread its overly boring now.
There's just nothing going on in the summer. We need a topic. We need someone to bash. We need heroes.
Micahel Jackson could have been a great runner. He was slim, fast , and he had stamina. What'd ya think? Well at least this isn't boring.
Carney did pretty good at the peachtree road race, picked up like 4,500 bucks too. There is somethin to talk about.
IUP's new XC coach had a nice run a Peachtree too:

A lot of who's who of young PA distance runners here actually.
Weiss, Jason Leonard both of SRU
Derek Dutille of Duquesne?
TJ Hobart, running a good race early, he's going off to UVA to run for Vigilante. He's going into a class with Robby Andrews.
Sean Strauman of IUP you said. I was disappointed not to see him run any races this spring/summer. Is he done with the 800?
Mike Garraway, a recruit next year for Lock Haven
Lets Bash on Steve Wainwright from IUP...The Kid has nothing going on for him
Yeah, Steve Wainwright... what a piece of crap. I mean, who has a nickname like Donkey? He should probably quit running..
But there's a lot of Rock guys in the race.. Weiss, Grey, Leonard, Ulrich, Morelli. Good to see some PSAC guys out on the road!
And that race sure was stacked..
The winner is a pro runner who heralds from that area.. kind of cool to see someone who runs for Hansen's to come back and get involved in the PGH running community. Moravec is a PSAC alum who has been lighting up the road circuit recently. Dutille was a national qualifier in the steeple for Duquesne, putting up a best of an 8:51, Simpson is an awesome runner from WV who ran for WVU's last mens team in 2003 and has been putting up big times all over the place since the demise of the program.
Pretty crazy front 5 there. Also, 15:33 for Hobart? That's a good sign after a lackluster track season(at least for his standards).
Nate Zondlo won Weekend at Bernies. Look out!
Wow, he won a race on July 4th, PSAC's aren't for another 4 months, and nationals for another 5. I'm sure Edinboro, Slippery Rock, and Shippensburg are shaking in their boots right now.
This board blows. End it, and start up a new one.
Your mom blows.. quit well actually..and so does steve wainwright
Any psac coaches looking for another job?
Where's Jorge?????
Surprised no one posted this yet:

Lock Haven alum Ryan Blood running 4:08 to break the course record for the Harrisburg mile. (Previous course record is actually 4:08.something). He seems to be back in pretty good shape again. Hopefully we see some great races from him this fall.
So, any predictions for next year? On the guys side I think Lock Haven will repeat, Shippensburg second, Edinboro third. Individually it will be a tight battle between Hahn, Hilton, and Beegle.
Des Linden: "The entire sport" has changed since she first started running Boston.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Ryan Eiler, 3rd American man at Boston, almost out of nowhere
