Speaking of the ESU Warriors, I pose this question to the athletes in the know: can the one and only Devyn Emerich, a true freshman, win the womens high jump. I, as well as many others, will really be looking forward to this event.

So ESU you could def. get 3rd
pretty much looked exacly like the performance list to me... try a little imagination next time.
Obviously we COULD get third but the relays are not complete and people ranked low like Weiss makes Slippery Rock much better than they look on paper.
If there were real distance runners in the conference Lock Haven and Ship would not be the top 2 teams.
i know its the performance list ... I just made it cause i was bored.
If the list was the results then LHu would win, then SHIP then ESU.
These rankings don't mean shit. SRU will win the DMR and possibly the 4 x 8. Lock Haven has the same people ranked in all 3 distances and they will not run all 3 races.
Currently we get no points in the DMR and with Weiss anchoring we will win. Our 4 x 8 is loaded so just add points to our score and take everyone else down a notch. Besides Weiss will win the 3000 which is another 6 and taking a lot of points from LH and Ship. Both our hurdlers will score higher and our 4 x 400 will be second. Plus we have a few other surprises.
SRU will win the meet again this year so sorry Haven.
i know!!!! i know this doesnt mean anything .... I just did for the hell of it. I know that SRU should go easily under 10 for the DMR. I am surprise they didnt run one at all this season. they have a guy that goes under 50, 2 guys at 1:55 and a 4:09.
"If there were real distance runners in the conference Lock Haven and Ship would not be the top 2 teams."
You are kidding me right Warriors? "Real" distance runners? So Weiss, Beegle, Hilton, Getz, Pomerantz, Neyhart, etc. aren't "real" distance runners? Why don't you explain to me what a "real" distance runner is? Because I am pretty sure you have no clue what one is. And if you are trying to assume that the sprinters in this conference are better than the distance runners in this conference you are sadly mistaken my friend. You are making your team look like a bunch of a**holes, so why don't you do yourself and your team a favor and never post on this thread again, because you are making everyone else who have read your posts dumber.
P.S. You had a fvcking real distance runner on your team last year....or did you forget about Pinto?
A real distance runner is like the woman who just set the record in the 5000. I am sure she would do ok against the boys in our sorry distance conference.
How many of our "real" distance runners have run faster than her? I am sure you do not want to talk about the 10K or how many of the "real" distance runners have qualified for Nationals. How many "real" distance runners would qualify for the DI Nationals or the USA National Championships? NONE so do not say we have "real" distance runners.
Do yourself a favor and never post on this thread again as you have no idea what a "real" distance runner is.
The world does not revolve around distance runners, but this website does.
How many of the sprinters in our conference could qualify for DI Nats or the US Championships? NONE! You have no idea what you are talking about.
We actually have had lots of "real" distance runners in our conference. How about Cummings from Mansfield who came in 2nd at indoor Nats last year? How about Clark who won the 800 outdoors last year? How about Weiss and Reagan from Slippery Rock who qualify for Nats every year? How about Chris Clark who qualified for Nats? How about Pinto who qualified for Nats from your own school? How about Beegle in the steeple? How about Lock Haven's DMR and their distance crew who has done awesome so far this year?
yo uncle warrior... not to be a dick but you have no idea what your talking about.
Consider:
Chris clarke = Sub 8 3k, will easily go sub 14 in the 5k
Wiess= 3rd in the nation xc as a freshman
Also remember that that majority of the PSAC'S distance guys are extremely young. Almost all freshman and sophmores.
Also remember these athletes are getting litttle if any scholarship money. There are quite a few psac guys who could have gone D1 and done well. However, as we all know, the schools with the most money buy the most talented athletes.
P.S. I am sorry all of our distance guys quit or got kicked off the team. But don't go beating on other PSAC schools. If we were in a good conference then our throwers and jumpers would suck too
Hey I agree with every thing you said there. I think you mean Strauman in the 800.
PSACfannn dont listen to WARRIOR he has no clue what he is saying.
PSAC have real distance runners. And every year is getting better. I remember when a 4:16-4:17 would win PSACS ... Now u have to run a 4:11, 4:12 to win it.
I am really disappointed about WARRIOR's comments.
WARRIOR I think you should SHUT UP. Cause I guarantee that you shouldnt even talk about "real" runners. If distance runners arent real runners then the athletes that do other events in our conference are def. not real athletes.
I really hate talking on here but here are my 2 cents.
WARRIOR WTF is wrong with you? You just told me that Im not a real runner!!!! I hate talking about myself but I probably accomplish a lot more than you while at ESU. So dont come here and talk shit about distance runners. You are embarrassing yourself, myself and ESU track and field. So give us all a favor ... think before you write on here.
i will see everyone at psacs .... good luck to everyone. I wanna see some fast times.
Later
why did ESU distance guys get kicked off?
No one got kicked off. And if someone did they wouldnt do anything anyways.
They have a young distance team. I say one or two years they will have a couple solid kids.
they have an 800 guy that went 1:56 in high school, but because of injuries and being sick he didnt have a good indoor season.
They have a 8:47 3k guy. Who last year only ran like 9:15.
Also they have two good freshmen that will be great runners if they stick with it.
So we will
Good luck this weekend everyone.

Pretty sure Clarke is not running this weekend and yes Wiess was 3rd as a freshman. So he probably won the last 3 years in XC. Remember we are talking indoor track not XC.
Warriors is right in that distance is very weak in our conference. When women run faster in a race you are weak.
Ok so Shalane set the AR in the 5k, there are plenty of guys in our conference right now who have run faster, let me name a few...Weiss, Reagan, Beegle, Hahn, Clark, McGlaughlin, etc.
Look at the Indoor AR in the 200m for women, it is 22.18, no guy in our conference has run that fast...but there is no one on here saying the sprinting in our conference is weak. Maybe your retarded looking underarmor spandex uniforms are too tight and cutting off the circulation to your brain or something. I don't know...either way, please shutup because you are wrong and I just proved it.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
