no one likes you strauman
I'm pretty sure Neely could win the Mile with her hands tied behind her back.
yeah for real she ran more than 10 secs faster in hs than any other girl in the conference has ever ran. good call though your right strauman maybe she will get third or fourth... f***in idiot.
you forgot one of your own guys for the men's 400 who will probably win it. also if outman runs the 4 at conference she will be tough to beat as she has run 56 indoors on a 200 flat.
Neely is an amazing athlete. But I am just wondering how well she will handle having to do multiple events. She might do more than you think, which would hinder her chances of crushing everyone. Same thing with Outman. She is by far one of the best athletes I have ever seen. But she also does a LOT of events.
I dont know if many of you were actually AT the NCAA meets to see Nicodemus spread himself too thin. And if you don't know who I am talking about, shame on you.
I stand behind my predictions. And that's all they are. Just because I predicted someone would come in 2nd or 3rd doesn't mean they will. I love how everyone begs people to put up predictions and then they tell them how stupid they are. That's why I love LetsRun.
And I will leave you with a famous quote from Patrick Roy, "I can't really hear what you say, because I've got my national champion ring plugging my ears."
thats the dumbest quote ever. why would you put a ring in your ear? and im pretty sure you dont have two national championship rings so you would still be able to hear me out the other ear... just another reason why your a jackass.
did you just say you didn't care because you are a 1 time national champion? wow. you really do love yourself.
Neely will stomp all comers. even if strauman thinks she suddenly can't handle 2 or 3 races.
Strauman put dell in third because he can't stand seeing the girl he once obsessed over do better. Poor old strauman was turned down by dell. Guess that ring didn't do too much for you there buddy.

....and you wonder why people dislike you. whack job.
bout time we get some people on here that add sum spice to the thread. Good job straumen on the predictions, i do think neely will win anything she runs because she won't have to run too hard to win her first events. so she will have some gas left in the tank. unless Richards goes after her in the 3k and is sitting fresh, but i imagine richards will be doubling or tripling as well.
hahaha I put Dell winning the 800. Why, because she is currently leading the conference in it. And I put her as third in the mile because (1) she will be running the 800, and the DMR before the mile and (2) Jennings has dominated that event.
Also, its the PSAC championship meet. Who the hell cares? The REAL meet is in Houston. And just like XC, I'd pick Pixler to beat Neely in any race. Nothing against Neely, Pixler is just faster, as of now.
I dont care if people like me. I didnt run for people to like me. I ran because I could and because I love it. It also helped I was pretty good at it.
And why the hell shouldn't I be confident? I lost 1 race out of 4 years to a conference opponent in the 800. I earned 5 All Americans, a national championship, and two conference athlete of the year awards. Yeah I must have no knowledge at all about running. Nor should I be proud of anything I accomplished. HA. Who cares what you think? You won't even say your real name on here. Shows who is has balls and who doesn't
I love sean! he is amazing. he is so skinny and hot
I have nothing to say....I just wanted to be the 3000th poster on this thread.
Maybe not the best way to say it Sean, but you do have a point.
I love how Ralph White is trying to take credit for his 2 male jumpers, Nafee Harris and Ceasar Westbrook. Everyone knows that they were recruited and brought into school by the past coach Spickler... White stated a while back that IUP would dominate the conference...lets see what happens, as far as I know the only athletes he currently has were the jumpers recruited by Spickler and a female multi athlete who he illegally brought in from Williams college where he got fired from.... steer clear of this guy...he is an imoral ass..
As an athglete on the team, I see what goes on there for the most part..
I don't think that Ralph White is purposely trying to be a dick and "take credit" for them.
As far as I know, Those two have only been eligable since he has been around. What did Spickler do for that? Was Nafee number 1 under him? no.. This year, white already has 5 national qualifiers, I think it's safe to say that he is turning this program around... The PSAC better watch come outdoor time
Now im not nocking on Spick because He left before I got to know him, but facts are facts
What I'm trying to say is that I'm sick of people cutting White down, just because he is an asshole...
He isn't here to be his athletes best friends, He is here to make us winners. And it seems that just because he is doing that, and with the bad taste that was left because everyone loved spick, people are hating
Russ, I know people give White a hard time. I'm probably the most known for it. But whats wrong with this whole situation is that people are pointing fingers and trying to put blame on someone else. Ok, Spickler brought in Nafee and Casear. Well... Spickler is gone. It's now Ralph's job to make them national champs. And Spick is my boy. I am just as loyal to him as I am Fry and Doc. I'm just saying, people need to stop caring who brought in who and focus on their successes.
As far as 5 national qualifiers being a "turning point" for IUP, last year we had 6 different individuals actually compete at the NCAA meets: Maureen, Gretchen, Troy, Rob, Chris, and I. Stacie Stockard also qualified but didn't get into the meet. Sorry if I forgot anyone else.
And, IUP Men's team finished ranked 15th in the nation last year outdoors. That's also the best finish the team has had since the 1980's.

Watching Sean run the last four years was great. He brought excitement to the track and a lot of fans into the stands. He also was the first conference 800 runner to win 4 straight outdoor titles (last one to do so: Lewis, West Chester 880 yards 1952-1955). Matt Sauls couldn't do it (last 800m NCAA champ from the PSAC), nor Rick Killian (former holder of the PSAC 800 records). He holds all 4 conference records in the event. I think I can agree that he should be confident and proud of what he accomplished. I got a chance to meet him at a meet outdoors last year, and he is well-spoken and very polite. He seems to be friends with everyone he races. I may not agree with some of his comments on here, but that just might be his style. He has my respect.
