alright, so if flotrack is tailgating for DI nats, then I think there should be tailgating for DII nats...who's with me? And rock guys, where is the party going to be???

Apparently, I have had my head up my butt for the last few years. Why does Slippery Rock runs at Coopers Lake instead of on campus? I was at D2 nationals back in 2001 or 2002 and ran numerous hs xc races on the campus but just found out they run WPIALs and D2 nationals off campus.
they had construction on the old course, so they had to move the course
I wouldnt call whooping up the crowd the last straight away "humble"...don't get me wrong he seems like a nice guy, but a bit self adsorbed in my opinion
After years of hardwork maybe emotion got the best of him. I know anyone that knows or talks to Chris would not call him self-absorbed. He wants the best for everyone in the race, maybe the nicest and most sincere kids I"ve ever met. Sounds gay but true... I KNOW for SURE he will be an awesome coach in a good program one day.
Does everything right... so dont hate.

when you crush records and have a shot at being the nation champion, you will feel a little excited too. "whooping" up the crowd was only a few seconds compared to working and being humble for years.
i pull for ever psac runner once they get to the national level
yes i will be rooting for chris clark the whole way also, i just felt his celebration was a little excessive, and i may have went to far to call him self-absorbed considering i have never met the kid...i wish him the best of luck at nats and represent the psac well!
yo PSAC man, Flotrack won't tailgate d11 or d111 because, well they suck. You could maybe take top 10 at nationals from each division and put them in the D1 race. Of course they would finish from 50th-250th. Face it, you guys just aren't that good, and the excitement is in Terra Heute.
The trash talking on this site is sad and juvinile at best. The cry-babies that trash talk, probably have never been able to beat a top PSAC runner regardless of their schools. D1 wannabes we are not. I ran against many D1 runners in my day and crushed most of them but I was never prouder then when I was crushing those in my own league. I was (as many) in the PSAC able to go D1 but whether due to money, academics ,coaching staff, class size or location chose a DII school. The PSAC schools in general have never felt the need to stock thier teams with foreign athletes to win national championships as many of the top teams in the nation do. So my advice, go somewhere else with your crying. Go PSAC!!
the real talk on this thread should be about where the parties are going to be at saturday night in the rock?
Parties. That is why people at PSAC school are not very good. Except for a few they are too worried about where the party is going to be instead of being real runners. I guess that is why you choose D II instutitions instead.
One of the big problems - kids in this conference are over focused on drinking and not running. They have good coaches who have good experience and these kids pisss it down the urnial with beer.
it's only this conference and it's only d2? I think there is already a thread about post Nationals Parties and if I recall Iona got busted a few years back with bottles of liquor on the bus ride home from the airport after nationals. And Brie Felnagle got an underage after falling for through a roof hiding from the cops. SO sure, it's just us. Not saying there might not be a problem with it, but seriously? You must an old guy. Or a virgin.

Did I also mention that some people are not very bright. Great English and analogy!
You state a few examples but forget that there are thousands of examples the other way - where people take their running seriously. The problem with PSAC is you have too many part-time athletes who just spend their time on the message board and drink instead of training and getting respectable. This takes away from the few who do it right.
Their are some very good coaches but not all of them should claim to be a coach. Some tolerate your behavior which tells a lot about their coaching.
Did LHUP Alum Chris Cowan get married, hyphenate his name, and try to make a comback on some crappy team in TN? I think so...I am reporting the NCAA that this is a violation.
A real runner can drink his weight Pabst blue ribbon or sparks +. A real team can drain over 30 cases of beer in under 1 week. This same team wins championships and screws bitches!
D2 Represent
P.S. D2 talent is shaped by amazing coaches who take ordinary athletes and make them great. D1 powerhouses are shaped by recruiting and money.
You must be talking about "I" Brandon Boyer the best drinker in the PSAC
P.S. Go PSAC runners and make some history this weekend at the Rock. Ship women bring home a trophy and a national champion. Haven and Edinboro men bring home another bid for the region with a nice top 8 finish. Individually the top 5 guys in the region have great chances at going AA this year which would be awsome. Good Luck and I will see you there!
Hmm...what word comes to mind when thinking about the PSAC? Is Pathetisad a word?
Who can give me the next line, starts with, How about...?
Seriously though, PSAC runners for the most part are a joke. Sure a few of you can run, but honestly VERY FEW! And even fewer of you can run past college, now I am talking a percentage less than .001.
My only question is this, why run? Why bother suffering so much just to be mediocre in the end. Go smoke some dope, drink your beer, and relax next to the TV. You are a WANNABE!
So why do people run at all in the first place? Have you ever run a day in your life? If so then why? Unless you are a professional athlete what was your reason for running?
What is wrong with running because you want to be part of a team and want to improve? There are plenty of guys in the PSAC that are very mediocre but love the sport and love running so they have fun and train hard to run 27:00 for 8k or 16:00 for 5k. The feeling of improving is the same whether you are a 13:00 5k runner or a 17:00 5k guy. One still has to train and race against themselves to get better. The only difference is nobody cares about the 17 minute guy but his teammates and himself. It doesn't make them any less of a man.
Lets go ship women! Good luck to everyone else too! the ship guys are coming out to cheer on the PSAC so we will see you guys on saturday.
Anybody have a house for 12 ship guys for saturday night in slippery rock? we are heading to Indiana in the morning to watch D1 nat's and don't want to drive back 3 1/2 hours to ship to turn around and drive 11 hours to Indiana. Let one of us know if anybody does.

The temperature in Slippery Rock is supposed to be bone chillin' !! I hope the teams from the south and far west know what a Pennsylvania cold day feels like. "COLD, WINDY, DAMP and BONE CHILLIN!" AS for the PSAC teams both women/men, kick ass!! REPRESENT!!
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
