were you at the race? the only way regan could win is if clark gave him a piggie back ride and then triped him at the end. besides hahn will beat regan too.
clark for national champion '08
I am predicting it right now, Ship wins girls race by 20 pts.
did you see the scores...the rock lost by three points....we have done many workouts at coopers lake...its so hilly which gives the rock the advantage.

Lock haven with an 8k is basically a sprint to most of us. A 10k at coopers lake is much different. It will be interesting to see if there is big difference between the results from each and what the leaders try to do to separate themselves from the other title contenders.
Reagan only ran 23 seconds faster at lock than at slippery rock earlier this season. Either he peaked way to early or he's fixin somethin nasty for this weekend. I hope its the latter. We'll find out.
Sure SRU ran close to Ship. But compared to what the Lady Raiders have done all year they were well short of their potential. And what leads you to believe "you" are the only team who has prepared for the hills? Your bias is incredible. Calm Down.

I am just saying the Rock only lost by three and they are gaining more of an advantage being that its their home course.

Plus our number 5 girl is healthy
Ship will pull it back together and run much better at regionals, SRU will not beat them, no one will. Your bias is BS and you can do as many workouts as you want there, it doesn't mean you are going to take down a team with much much much more talent and that has ran well all year.
On the guys side, who the hell knows, it's going to be nuts. I can see the results changing a lot, or not at all. It'll be interesting.
how many teams and individuals qualify for men and women?
who will make it?
any top 25 or top 15 predictions? Will the pack remain the same or change?
2 teams each make it to NCAA's and top 2 non-qualifying team individuals and all of them that are in the top 5.
I'm going to put this out there: regionals is going to be nasty. On the guys side, the individual race is going to just be a preface for the awesome team race that is going to ensue. Reagan and Clark are going to push each other to a NASTY time, with Weiss coming in a close third. Hahn will pull up the next pack, followed closely by a pack with Beegle, McLaughlin, Pomerantz, Gaudet, and Shelly, not in any particular order. After an absolutely blistering race, I'm calling a Slippery Rock upset. SRU will take down Edinboro and take the Regional title based on some good coaching on Papa's part-having his team peak at the right time, and based off of home field advantage.
On the girl's side, the individual race is no question: Spence is going to continue on her path to a D2 title and dominate the field at Cooper's Lake. The race for second will be something to watch, because there will be plenty of runners there whose teams will be in contention. The team race, however, is going to be a toss up. Slippery Rock opened a lot of people's eyes at Lock Haven this past weekend, and it's hard to say they're going to walk away with anything less than second on their own course. But, I have faith that Steve Spence will have his girls up and ready for the challenge, and in a very close race, Shippensburg will edge out SRU for the Regional title.
5 more days!!
8k on a grass track vs. 10k on hills- it may as well be a different sport on saturday. I think it will come down to whatever team has the best day 1-5, all four guys teams are pretty similar in skill. if i was slippery rock though i wouldnt even want to make it to nationals. who wants to have nationals at your home course honestly?
This is slippery rocks last chance to make it for the next couple of years. boro, Haven and Ship are so young that unless another berth is earned by the region i do not think they have a chance in the next 2 to 3 years to come. But i can be wrong, I wish SRU the best of luck, everyone counted them out all season long except for themselves...they just need to show up and race one more time (and then one more time if all goes well)
the psac couldn't of picked any shitier cities to put schools. slippery rock is a slum just like most. i would hate to go to nationals there... like going to the Sudan for the Olympics.
except minus the deserts, war, genocide and faimine. but your right SRU is really bad too.
Go SRU...Hooray to Papa for getting his guys and gals to get out their forks for the last two big meAts.
One more thing...any takers on this...Jen Haarp is the hottest runner in the PSAC?
Oh geez one more thing for Geddis to brag about.
