i have had the asics 2110 for about almost all of xc season and summer training too. I feel my calves get sore and shin muscle is like popping out. should i get new shoes or can i hold them off for about another 2-3weeks, until the season is over. Will running in these make my foot stronger? Just as a \\\\\\\"minimalist\\\\\\\" because my shoes have almost not more cushioning and have a low heel. Could i pass this off for another 2 weeks if I ice my shins and calves every day
The only thing worn on your shoes is likely the medial post, they'll wear out well before any other part of the shoe and you certainly wont get any/much "minimalist" effect out of running with your shoes are they are now (not that I'm claiming that you want that)
The straight facts are likely that you trained too much and your body didn't adapt quick enough. if you say that you trained the same then your fellow teammates that, say, "didn't run all summer".. then sorry dude, you weren't born a runner, they were.
