Can anyone tell me what am doing wrong? I thought increasing ur miles would make u better, not worse. I was running a 17:00 5K. So I figured hey let's put more miles on and I'll be doin real good now. My miles now r anywhere to 45 to 60 mpw. When before they were 25 to 35mpw. Now with the 45 to 60mpw I am running a 18:33, 18:24, 18:22. They r all my last race times. My 10k time of about a 2months ago is 37:12. Half marthon is a 1:30.07. It also seems so hard to run when before it came so easy. I would just go, and now am mentaly talking to myself to keep from walking.
So will these miles pay off in the long end or am I just dumed to die and never return. I need to have a 17:00 race soon or am just going to kill. I was one of the top on the team and now am luky to have 7th. My coach say's am burnt out. My dad say's it's gona come back. I say I think I have a serious problem. The team thinks am fakin.
