I'm surprised no one has mentioned Morty Caster from Ithaca. He's been improving every week and has a great shot at qualifying for nationals.

There is no way that Stevens will beat Deshane, Deshane will finish by himself(nobody within 5-10 seconds)

The battle will be for 2nd -- Cortland will win with relative ease in the men's race. You can't beat their secret training methods. Just watch.

Look how close the two teams have been over the past 3 years, 2005 of course being an off year for IC. I just thought it was interesting to look how close they have been. I picked Plattsburgh because I know their program is designed for peaking at regionals, no big surprises there. They always seem to jump in the rankings after that race. But, IC has been coming on strong, and I have heard that they are more prepared this year then they have been in the past. We shall see. I still would favor PSU; going into a meet with a practically guaranteed #1 makes the decision a bit easier as well.

Yeah, isn't there supposed to be some serious rain on Saturday?? I'd say who cares what it's like now, if it rains overnight into Saturday and all Saturday morning, the course will be quite sloppy.

Seriously, 4 out of the last 5 years have had Regionals be a mess. (This is cross country though, so who's complaining!)

2002 - New Jersey - mud

2003 - Geneseo - cold/mud

2004 - SLU - bitter cold, but super fast

2005 - UR - water/mud

2006 - Geneseo - wet/mud???
