From the Indiana State Website
"The Indiana State University men's and women's cross country teams opened their 2002 season on Saturday morning with the annual running of the Sycamore Pride at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
In the first race, the women's 4k race, 2002 ISU graduate Annie Gasway finished ahead of the pack. However Gasway made a wrong turn on the challenging course, but meet officials still deemed her the winner. "
Didn't Indiana State have this problem a few years back where the leaders were sent the wrong way in two separate meets?
Hopefully they'll fix this before November 25. Otherwise, we'll have some nobodies push to the lead at 4k, take a wrong turn, then bemand to be declared the winner.
