FACT:: Cooper Lutkenhaus is without a doubt the greatest track phenom.the sport has ever witnessed.
MYTH: Cooper Lutkenhaus is great with race tactics.
Look at all of his races at 800m the last 2 years against pros and he has run TOO MUCH in lane 2 multiple times. His only near perfect race execution wise was World Indoors. Lutkenhaus isn't a great tactical racer YET but when you're the most talented in the field, you can afford to make a few mistakes.
FACT: Had Cooper run in Lane 1 behind the rabbit the majority of the race in Stockholm he would have run sub 1:41.88 to 1:41.95.
I think Lutkenhaus is ready to run 1:41.5 in Oslo, the only thing is will he put himself in the position to accomplish such a ultra fast time like Audrey Werro's perfect race❓.
Cooper is no doubt one of the (IF NOT THE) most talented 800m runners on the planet, now it's time to see him run a super fast 800m competitively while running only in lane 1.
Right now Cooper isn't the best tactical racer but he is the most talented. His talent allowing him to overcome a few mistakes and the world sees it as great race strategy instead of just SUPERIOR TALENT.
I'm a huge Cooper Lutkenhaus' Fan but I would really like to see him put himself out front behind the rabbit and stay out of Lane 2 PERIOD and "SEND IT" as he & his coach would say...😉
