I was prescribed adhd medicine by my doctor. I tried many kinds of methylphenidate and amphetamines, along with non-simulant options. Every single one of them made my running worse. The stimulants sent me over the edge and boosted my HR by ~15bpm on easy runs and ruined my sleep (especially the long lasting ones), and the non-stimulant ones put me to sleep. It's shocking to me that some of them are banned for in-competition use, but I know everyone reacts differently.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to not have them wreck my running?
