I wouldn't. Although Bobby Kennedy is a serious supspect. Bob knows a lot about the Africans (and himself) but ain't saying dick.

Sadly, Bobby Kennedy was killed in 1968.
Bob Kennedy, however, may indeed have been playing the game of other top pros. I do NOT believe that American endurance athletes have all passed on performance enhancing drugs. I just don't buy it.

NAME names you pussy this is a free country.... I say Bob Kennedy, Adam Goucher, and the Krum (Dave Krummanacher) are/were on epo/repoxygen....
Krum? Ha! Anyone who has met him knows that you'll never meet a more honest or humble guy. He prays before every meal, for Christ's sake!
Same thing goes for Adam Goucher. That guy would prefer to die a thousand deaths rather than dope illegally.
Lets face it its all a lot dirtier than we would like to think, and its not just the africans, its Americans, Brits and Africans and Asians and Europeans, the whole damned lot. It is incredibly naive to belive this is an isolated problem, America has had huge doping problems, anybody who does not see that and accuses the africans of being dopers is just plain stupid. I would bet that many of Wejo's favourites that he name drops on here are just as dirty, if not with EPO use but at least with blood doping. I have heard lots of rumours recently from people within the sport who would not jeopardise their positions with idle gossip regarding certain individuals and I was shocked.
People can give the public impression of being genuine, nice hard working people but sadly in life people cheat, they cheat at work, on their families and in sport... it is a human condition and those who reach the highest level, those with obsessive personalities are those who are most fragile psychologically and will stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
If you were really tied in with the sport, you'd know that there are some cheats, but that the majority are clean. There just isn't enough money in it.
Can anyone here speculate what a two year doping/detection prevention testing program would cost?
There is too much money in it, thats why we have doping, when an athelet can pick up 500,000 apearnace money alone for a major marathon then people wll cheat.
Jos Hermens is also Ezekiel Sepeng's agent who is now serving is suspension for failing a dope test, sounds very very suspecious...i always doubted those 800m runners
Wrong. Sepeng's agent is a European.

lol...Jos Hermens is from Holland dude, and thats in Europe....u need to catch up on your geography
checkout the athletes
unfortunately it is so wrote:

just because you would cheat doesn't mean that other athletes are without character.
and, btw, there is virtually NO MONEY in track. Paul Tergat makes 500k.yr -- starting pay for the MLB

well, it is all relative. 500k for a kenyan is a lot -- maybe like 2 million for an american, around hamilton's income, but less than average NFL. We all know that NFL players are completely doped up -- you can't look like that naturally -- so i say the incentive structure is similar.
but, since high school football players are already doing steriods, i don't that the incentive threshold can be that high.
ummm, numbnuts? how about you stop going off on rants on the guy who CREATED THE SITE YOU ARE READING.
hey jerk, of course wejo thinks some of the top guys are drugging. yes, he wants to clean up the sport. BUT, i doubt wejo is as NAIVE TO THINK THAT HIS 28MIN 10K COULD HAVE WON HIM AN OLYMPIC MEDAL, numbnuts, because after all, wejo wasn't better than 4th in the country. while VERY good, it won't even get you out of the trials, numbnuts.
wejo knows his ability and knows he gave it his all. that's all you can want and be satisfied about at the end of the day, numbnuts.

Jean Verster looks after Sepeng and stupidly enough their problem seems to be related to a nutritional supplement or something pathetic, totally unprofessional to use supplements on an Olympic medalist without checking things out first.
There are a number of over the counter supplements that flaunt the rules regarding what is allowed however it is up to the athlete and management team to check matters out before using the products. One word missing professionalism.

dude, you're confuse. creating the site does not make his arguments and action right, if it involves slander and such ... this is an open forum, or it could be a wejo/whoever you like forum!
the guys had made his point. let him speak of the percieved bias he think is in wejo's mind.
so now on the letsrun front page "there is a very interesting quote from jos in someone's book." ok, out with it then. let's all see it.
I can't say what Wejo's ultimate motivation is, only he can, but it certainly seems valid to include links to these articles on this site. If you care about athletics then you must be very concerned about drug allegations. And, that's just what they are, allegations - things to be discussed, ruminated on, debated, etc.
This sport is a pure test of human against human. It's not a team sport (except for baton handoffs), there is no fancy gear, not much in the way of tactics (compared to other sports). All you've got is a test of ability and training. When drugs enter, the excitement and fascination begin to disappear, to be replaced by a different sort of excitement - the tabloid/schadenfreude kind.
