The very title of this thread indicates that there is a doping investigation underway and Jos Hermans is involved. Is this true?

Is that true, was Hermens Suzy's agent? If so, VERY good point.
Look who we choose to trust and choose not to trust. Wejo has all this sympathy for Suzy because he long thought Regina was dirty (he was right on that one, I will give him that). But now Hermens has a small mention in a drug article, and everyone is ready to declare Geb and Bekele drug cheats (Some have been doing so for years already). But wait, Hermens managed Suzy?? Wejo and others, why so quick to believe in Suzy as not being a cheater?? If you are going to "connect the dots", then connect them on EVERYone. Someone will connect them on you someday too wejo, if you are not careful (and no, I am no saying you took drugs, but witchhunts are not meant to find the truth, they are meant simply to convict someone in the court of public opinion. I hope it doesn't happen to you).
Thanks for the support Dweedle, I could not agree more with you.
And DREGS.....you too, excellent post. You guys said better than I did what I wanted to express.
EXACTLY. That "med"blogs thing has been posted repeatedly, and it is an embarassment of bullshit.
I am glad to see that many agree with me on here.
So wejo, what have you accomplished on your "war on drugs" the last few weeks??
A) you told us about a "top African marathoner" who you had evidence about drug use on. Didn't say who, didn't present the video to WADA, but just said: one of the top Africans are on drugs. And that accomplished what? It just made more people think many (not one) Africans could be cheaters. You did some honest athletes a disservice, and didn't do anything to get an actual possible cheater convicted. Did that really do any good???
B) you start a thread about Hermens that has no solid evidence him being involved in drugs, but insinuates as much and post several links to articles about this. What has this accomplished? Did it show any solid proof that Hermens gives drugs to his athletes?? Not, not even close, but it DID present the haters with more fuel for their fire, allowing them to further convict (in their minds and on this board ) all top Africans of being cheaters.
I don't really see anything positive coming out of either action of yours. If you have STRONG evidence on a cheater, tell us his name, and present said evidence to WADA. And if their is news of STRONG evidence of Hermens being involved with giving drugs to his athletes, then blast that news all of your site. But what you've done in both cases doesn't help the sport in my opinion at all.
Yeah, it does the sport a lot of good to cover up its frug use, because coverups never ever fail, right? Certain jackasses have told us to look the other way for so goddamn long that we're just sick of it.
When the shit hits the fan, track is going to look positive in comparison to other sports. Cycling and baseball are going to be revealed as rotten to the core.
many good questions asked--guess I am confused as to why one would be upset at Wejo???
and why has Hermens disappeared from the face of the earth?????? especially for someone who was quite visable before....
I think your being unfair on wejo, it's not like he's pushing a special agenda the whole time, he's just posting the articles, presenting the info and letting people come to their own conclusions. Which is far healthier than hiding such articles from us, if we're all informed then we're all ina better position to come to a reasonable conclusion.
Also many of you are automatically assuming that people who are questioning Hermans record are also accusing Geb and KB of using drugs to set WR's, not neccessarily.
This topic is gettin a bit hotter now...
Are any of Hermens top-athletes involved in the scandal?
Hermens has done so much damage to track....all these fools believing dudes could run 3:43 miles and 26:30 ten ks without drugs....put his ass in jail.
yes, Hermens is one of those who actually sees nothing wrong with drug use....As an American I despise drug cheats from Barry Bonds to Geb....

If he sees nothing wrong with it, then why does he deny it then?
Hermens doesn't so much deny it as he does excuse it with such comments as, "athletes make mistakes; what are we supposed to do-shoot them?" (Running Times). He broke the world one hour run twice, I believe, under suspect circumstances from what I remember. His attitude towards blood-chems doesn't necessarily mean Geb and Bek are doped, just that Jos runs in a byzantine labrynth of PEDS.
Perhaps we all do: take a look at parents' thirst for learning-improvement drugs-Adderall, Concerta, Ridlin, etc !!!!!
lets look at the way you wrote you post. First you say wejo believes africans and euros are dirty. Next, you say wejo just believes that WHITE americans are clean. Finally, you say wejo wants to "smear all african athletes." Pretty sneaky. Funny how your agenda becomes much clearer than Wejo's. Your agenda is to accuse wejo of racism. Your agenda is to say that wejo believes africans dope but white americans dont.
Now, are you out for real truth? or are you just out to smear people you personally don't trust and prove theories you've had for years, whether the evidenced is there or not????? GEE, I THINK THE LATTER.

Exactly! I always see people who get caught doing something illegal, then turn around and deny it. I mean, come on, if you are doing something illegal and you see nothing wrong with it you should just admit it....what could possibly go wrong?

I don't know about the previous person who posted. From what I've read of all Wejo's posts, he may not have intented to be a racist, but his action does make me wonder ...
And the most dirty of all, the x-Morroccan running for US!

can we take the 5th on this one
Jos = SUZY FAVOR HAMILTON, It's that simple.
I think it's very plausable that a former athlete turned manager who was once suspected of doping in his hey day (Jos Hermens) and suspected of being involved in the doping of his athletes early in his managing career would AGAIN be suspected of being involved in the doping of his current athletes. Is he the one injecting them? Of course not. He's not that stupid. He'll tell his athleted to go see this doctor *wink, wink* who'll refer you to another doctor *wink, wink*. Being direct gets you caught.
In a sports world where records and medals mean fame and fortune and, more importantly, IT MEANS THE THIRD WORLD COUNTRY OR VILLAGE YOU ARE FROM RECIEVES LOTS OF MOOLAH. Why wouldn't a Kenyan or Ethiopian runner find any and everyway possible to earn as much money as possible to send back to his family. If my family was living in a Harlem or Compton ghetto and I discovered I was already a pretty good runner I'd find every single way I could to cheat my way to more money to send back home. It's stupid not to. You think the same thing isn't happening already in this country? Look at basketball, look at football. If I was a star basketball player from some dirt poor family I'd take every bribe or car any coach threw at me. It would be stupid not to. If you've never had anything and all of a sudden you have coaches (or managers) telling you that you'd make a lot more money if you went to this doctor *wink, wink* it would be stupid not to listen to him. Then what happens is that everyone else finds out a few are doping and so they are more or less forced to join in just to keep everyone at an even level. Again, it would be stupid not to.
It doesn't mean it's right. It's just the normal course of action in any professional sport.
